ስብሓት ንአብን ንወልድን …………::

ማቴ.19:3-12

ቅዱስ መጽሓፍ ወዲ ሰብ ብኣምሳል ኣምላኽ ከምዝተፈጥረ ይምህረና።  ስለዚ ንሕና ነፍሲ ወከፍና ብሕይወትና ነቲ ጽባቐን ግርማን እግዚኣብሔር እነጸባርቕ ፍሉያት ፍጥረት ኢና። ስለዚ ቃልኪዳን ካብ ጥንቲ ብእግዚኣብሔር ዝተሰርዐ ቀጺሉ መድሓኒና ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ እግዚኣብሔር ዝኣሰሮ ሰብ ኣይፍተሓዮ እንዳበለ ደጊሙ ዓቢ ክብሪ ዝሃቦ ዓቢ ምሥጢር ኢዩ።

እቲ ብፍቕ ተደሪኹ ዝፈጠረ እግዚኣብሔር ንነፍሲ ወከፍና ናብ ፍቕሪ ይጽዋዓና። እዚ ናይ ንፍሲ ወከፍ ሰብ ጸዋዕታ ኢዩ። ሰብ ከምቲ ኣቀዲምና ዝበልናዮ ብኣምሳል እግዚኣብሔር ዝተፈጥረ ኢዩ። ስለዚ ኣምላኽ ሰብኣይን ሰበይትን ብምፍጣር . ሓደ ኣካል ብምኻን ብሕድሕዳዊ ፍቕሪ ንኽነብሩ ይዕድሞም። እቲ ሕድሕዳዊ ፍቕሮም ከኣ ናይቲ እግዚኣብሔር ንሰብ ዜፍቀረሉ ፍጹምን ዘይቃርጽ ፍቕሪ ኣምሳል ኮይኑ ይርከብ።

እዚ ፍቕሪ እዚ ብእግዚኣብሔር ክባረኽ ንረኽቦ። ፍረዩን ተባዝሑን ንምድሪ ከኣ ምልእዋን ምለኹዋን እናበለ እግዚአብሔር ንኪዳን ሰባይን ሰበይትን ይባርኾ። ሰብእይን ሰበይትን እምበር ሓደ ነቲ ሓደ ክመልእ ዝተፈጥሩ እያቶም። ሰብኣይ ኣቡኡን ኣዲኡን ሓዲጉ ምስ ሰበይቱ ይወሃሃድ – ይነብር። ሓደ ኣካል ድማ ይኾኑ።

“ ደጊም ሓደ ኣካል እዮም እምበር ክልተ ኣይኮኑን” ብምባል “ካብ ጥንቱ መደብ ፈጣሪ እንታይ ከምዝነበረ ጎይታና ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ኣነጺሩ ይምህረና።

ኢየሱስ ኣብቲ መጀመሪያ ስብከቱ ኣብ ቃና ዘገሊላ ተረኺቡ .. ብኣማላድነት ቅድስቲ ድንግል ማሪያም ናይ መጀመሪያ ተኣምራቱ ይፍጽም። ክርስቶስ  ስለምንታይ ኣብዚ መርዓ እዚ ክርከብ ደለየውን ክንብል ንኽእል ኢና። ሰበይቲ ንምፍታሕ ብሙሴ ዝተዋህበ ፍቓድ ብሰንኪ ትሪ ሊቢ ደቂ ሰባት ዝተገብረ ሕድገት ደኣምበር: ብሕጊ እግዚኣብሔር ናይ ሰብኣይን ሰበይትን ሓድነት ፍጺሙ ዘይፍታሕ ምኽኑ ኣትሪሩ ይእውጅ።

እዚ መድብ ሓድነት እዚ መደብ እግዚኣብሔር ኢዩ። ስለዚ ማንም ኪፈትሖ ኣይክእልን፣ “ እምበኣር ነቲ ኣምላኽ ሓደ ዝገበሮ ሰብ ኣይፍተሓዮ” እንዳበለ ከኣ ትምህርቱ የመሓላልፍ። እዚ ሓዋሪያት ብርቱዕን ዘይከኣልን ትእዛዝ ገሮም እካ እንተሓሰብዎ፡  ኣብ ክርስቶስ ዝኣምን ግና .. ደገፍን ጽላልን ናይ ክርስቶስ ኣይፍለዮን ኢዩ። ሰብ ኪዳን እምበኣር መስቀሎም ክጸሩ .. ኣብ መዓልታዊ ሕይወቶም ክደጋገፉ ይግበኦም።    ኣምላኽ በየናይ ዕላማ ምሥጢረ ቃል ኪዳን ሰሪዕዎ: ንሓድነትን . . ጠቕምን ተጻመድቲ: ውሉድ ንምውላድን ንምዕባይን: ብሓላፍነት ውሉድ ንምዕባይን:: እዚ ሓድነት ዕላማን  ኣብ ሓደጋ ከይወድቕ ነፍሲ ወከፍ ተጻማዲ ኣብ ጸዋዕታኡ እሙን ኮይኑ ክርከብ የዲሊ።

ቅዱስ ጳውሎስ .. ኣቱም ሰብኡት ከምቲ ክርስቶስ ንቤተክርስቲያን ምእንቲ ኪቕድሳ ዘፍቀራን: ህይወቱውን ምእንተኣ ዘወፈየ፤ ነንስትኹም ኣፍቅሩወን፣ ቀጺሉውን “ ስለዚ ሰብኣይ ኣቡኡን ኣዲኡን ሓዲጉ ምስ ሰበይቱ ሓደ ይከውን: ክሊቲኦም ከኣ ሓደ ኣካል ይኮኑ። እዚ ምስጢርዚ ዓቢይ እዩ፤ ኣነ ግና ብክርስቶስ ብቤተክርስትያንን እምስሎ ኣለኹ እንዳበለ ይናገር።

ኪዳን እምበኣር እዚ ትርጉም ሒዙ ይርከብ። ኣምሳል ፍቕሪ ክርስቶስን ቤተክርስቲያኑን ኮይኑ ይርከብ። እቲ ኣብ ክርስቶስን ቤተ ክርስቲያኑን ዝነበረ ሓድነትን ፍቕርን ኣብ መንጎ ሰብ ኪዳን እዚ ዓይነት ሓድነትን ፍቕርን ክነግስ ይድለ።

ማቴ. 18.21-ፍ

ሽዑ ጴጥሮስ ቅርብ ኢሉ “ጎይታይ! ኃወይ እንተ በደለንስ ክንደይ ሳዕ ይቕረ ኽብለሉ፧ ክሳዕ ሽብዓተዶ፧ በሎ። ኢየሱስ ድማ “ሾብዓተ ሳዕ ሰብዓ ደአ እምበር ክሳዕ ሾብዓተ አይብለካን” በሎ። ስለዚ መንግሥተ ሰማያት ምስ አገልገልቱ ኪጸባጸብ ዝደለየ ንጉሥ ትመስል። ኪጸባጸብ ምስ ጀመረ ዓሠርተ ሽሕ መክሊት ዕዳ ዘለዎ ሰብ አምጽእሉ።  ዝፈድዮ ምስ ሰአነ ግና እቲ ጎይትኡ ንሱን ሰበይቱን ደቁን ዘለዎ ሃብቲ ኹሉን ኪሸይጥ እሞ እቲ  ዕዳ ኪኸፈል አዘዘ። እቲ አገልጋሊ ድማ ናብ እግሩ ተደፊኡ “ጎይታይ፥ ተዓገሰኒ ደአ እምበር ኩሉ ኽፈድየካ እየ’ እናበለ ሰገደሉ። እቲ ጎይታኡ ድማ ነቲ አገልጋሊ ደንገጸሉ እሞ ፈትሖ፥ ዕዳውን ኅደገሉ። እቲ አገልጋሊ ምስ ወፀ ግና፥ ካብቶም ብጾቱ ሚእቲ ዲናር ዕዳ ዘለዎ ሓደ አገልጋሊ ረኸበ እሞ፥ ‘ አባኻ ዘሎ ዕዳ ፍደየኒ’ ኢሉ ሓኒቑ ኃዞ። ሽዑ እቲ ብጻዩ አገልጋሊ ‘ ተዓገሠኒ፥ ኩሉ ክፈድየካ እየ’ እናበለ ተደፊኡ ለመኖ። ንሱ ግና አበዮ፥ ከይዱ ድማ ክሳዕ ዕዳኡ ዚፈድዮ አእሰሮ። እቶም ብጾቱ አገልገልቲ ድማ እቲ ዝገበሮ ነገር ርእዮም አዝዮም ጎሃዩ፥ ከይዶምውን እቲ ዝኾነ ኹሉ ነገር ንጎይታኦም ነገርዎ። ሽዑ ጎይታኡ ጸዊዑ ‘አታ ሕሱም አገልጋሊ፥ አነ ስለ ዝለመንካኒ ብዘሎ ዕዳኻ ኃደግኩልካ። ንስኻኸ ከምቲ አነ ዝመሓርኩኻዶ ነቲ ብጻይካ ክትምሕሮ አይምተገበአካን፧’ በሎ። ጎይታኡ ኸአ ተቖጢዑ ኩሉ ዕዳኡ ፈጺሙ ክሳዕ ዚፈዲ ንዜሳቕይዎ አኅሊፉ ሃቦ። እምበአር ንስኻትኩም ድማ ነፍሲ ወከፍኩም ንኃዉ ካብ ልቡ በደሉ እንተ ዘይኃደገሉ፥ ሰማያዊ አቦይውን ከምኡ ኺገብረኩም እዩ።”

ናይ ሎሚ ቃል አምላኽ ብዛዕባ ምሕረትን ዕርቅን ይዛረብ።  ቅዱስ ጴጥሮስ ካብቲ ናይ መድኃኒን ኢየሱስብ ክርስቶስ ትምህርቲ ብዛዕባ ምሕረትን ዕርቅን ተበጊሱ ከምዚ እናበለ ንክርስቶስ ጎይቱ ኡ ኪሓትት ይርከብ። “ጎይታይ! ኃወይ እንተ በደለንስ ክንደይ ሳዕ ይቕረ ኽብለሉ፧ ክሳዕ ሽብዓተዶ፧ በሎ:፡ ሽብዓተ ኣብ ቅዱስ መጽሓፍ ምልኣት የስምዕ። ክርስቶስ ግና “ሾብዓተ ሳዕ ሰብዓ ደአ እምበር ክሳዕ ሾብዓተ አይብለካን” እናበለ ምሕረት መዓቀኒ ግዜን ከምዘይብሉ ይምህሮ፡ ማለት ኣብ ክርስቲያናዊ ሕይወትና መዓልታዊ ክንምሕር ከምዘለና ይምህረና።“ ምስትውዓል ንሰብ ዓቃል ይገብሮ፡ ምኅዳግ በደል ከአ፡ ክቡር ይገብሮ” ይብል ምሳሌ 19:11 ምሕረት ምሃብ ማለት እምበኣር ኣሰር ክርስቶስ ብምስዓብ ንኽፉእ ነገር ብጽቡቕ ነገር ምስዓር ማለት ኢዩ።

ንሕና ካብቲ ልዑል ኣምላኽ ምሕረት ስለዘድሊየና ክንምሕር ይግበኣና፡፡ እንተ መሓርና ኢና እንመሓር፡ ምሕረት እንቕበል። ከምቲ እግዚኣብሔር መዓልታዊ በቲ መወዳእታ ዘይብሉ ፍቅሩ ተደሪኹ ዝምሕረና ንሕናውን ንሓውና ክንምሕር ትሑዛት ኢና። ክርስቲያናዊ ሕይወትና ጠባያትና ብመንፈስ ምሕረት ክግዛእ የድሊ። አብ ዕብራውያን “ሾብዓተ ሳዕ ሰብዓ” ኩሉ ግዜ ዝብል ቃል የስምዕ። ስለዚ ኩሉ ግዜ ክንምሕር ሎሚ ክርስቶ ጎይታና ብቃል ሓዋሪያቱ ይዕድመና አሎ።

መንግሥተ ሰማያት ምስ አገልገልቱ ኪጸባጸብ ዝደለየ ንጉሥ ትመስል። ኪጸባጸብ ምስ ጀመረ ዓሠርተ ሽሕ መክሊት ዕዳ ዘለዎ ሰብ አምጽእሉ። ዝፈድዮ ምስ ሰአነ ግና እቲ ጎይትኡ ንሱን ሰበይቱን ደቁን ዘለዎ ሃብቲ ኹሉን ኪሸይጥ እሞ እቲ  ዕዳ ኪኸፈል አዘዘ። እቲ አገልጋሊ ድማ ናብ እግሩ ተደፊኡ “ጎይታይ፥ ተዓገሰኒ ደአ እምበር ኩሉ ኽፈድየካ እየ’ እናበለ ሰገደሉ። እቲ ጎይታኡ ድማ ነቲ አገልጋሊ ደንገጸሉ እሞ ፈትሖ። አብዝ ቃል እዚ እቲ ንጉስ ወይ ጎይታ ዝብሎ ዘሎ ነቲ ሰማያዊ አምላኽና ኢዩ። ንሱ አብ መዓልታዊ ሕይወትና ብንገብሮ ተግባራት ክፈርደና ምኻኑ የረድአና፤ እቲ ብሓቂ ግድልነቱ ሕማቕ ተግባራቱ ተአሚኑ አብ ቅድሚ ጎይታ ቀሪቡ “ ኦ ጎይታይ ተ ዓገሰኒ መሓረኒ ይቅረ በለለይ እናበለ ዝልም ዝምብርከኽን ካብ እግዚአብሔር ምሕረት ክቕበል ኢዩ። እግዚአብሔር አምላኽና ፈቃር አምላኽ ኢዩ፡ ዝምሕር አምላኽ ኢዩ፡ ምሕርተቱ መውዳ አታ የብሉን፤ ካብቲ ኃጢአትና ምሕረት አምላኽ ይዓቢ። ብጉድልነትና ተአሚና ግና አብ ቅድምኡ ክንቀርብ ይግበአና።

እቲ ብጎይትኡ ምሕረት ዝጠቐበለ  አገልጋሊ ግና ነቲ  ‘ ተዓገሠኒ፥ ኩሉ ክፈድየካ እየ’ እናበለ ተደፊኡ ዝለመኖ ሓዉ ብጻዩ ክድንግጸሉን ክምሕሮን አይተረኽበን። እዚ ተግባራት እዚ ሎሚ ባ ሕይወትና ዘጋንፈና ሃቂ ኢዩ። ንሕና ከምቲ ቀዲምና ዝበልናዮ ካብቲ ብኃጢአትና ኩነኔ ሞት እካ ይግበአና እንተኾነ እግዚአብሔር አምላኽና ግና ፈቃር አምላኽ ስለዝኾነ ብምሕረቱ ብሕይወት ከም እንመላለስ ይገቢር። ከምቲ ንሕና ካብ እግዚአብሔር ምሕረት እንቕበል ን አኅዋትና ክንምሕር ንጽዋዕ። እምበአር ንስኻትኩም ድማ ነፍሲ ወከፍኩም ንኃዉ ካብ ልቡ በደሉ እንተ ዘይኃደገሉ፥ ሰማያዊ አቦይውን ከምኡ ኺገብረኩም እዩ።

”ከምቲ ሰማያዊ ኣቦኹም ርሕሩሕ ዝኾነ ንስኻትኩም ከኣ ርሕሩሓት ኩኑ” ሉቃ፡ 6፡36 ዝብል ቃል ወንጌል እንዳስተንተና፡ ኣብ ምሕረትን ዕርቅን  ክንመላለስ እቲ ግዜ ሕጂ ኢዩ። ኣብ ሕይወትና ምሕረት ምዝውታር ማለት ምስ እግዚኣብሔር ኣቦናን ኣሕዋትናን ዕርቂ ምዝውታር ማለት ኢዩ። ምኽንያቱ ንስሓ መወዳእትኡ ምሕረት ኣምላክ ምርካብ ስለዝኾነ።

ኣባ ሓጎስ ተስፋጋቢር

 

አስተንትኖ ቃል አምላኽ ነሓሰ – 14.2018

ማቴ.18:1-5፡ 10፡ 12-14

በታ ሰዓት እቲአ እቶም ደቂ መዛሙርቱ “ አብ መንግስተ ሰማያት መን ይዓቢ፧” እናበሉ ናብ ኢየሱስ ቀረቡ። ኢየሱስ ድማ ሓደ ሕፃን ናብኡ ጸዊዑ አብ ማእከሎም አቖሞ እሞ ከምዚ በለ፦ “እንተ ዘይተመለስኩም፥ ከም ሕፃናትውን እንተ ዘይኮንኩም ናብ መንግሥተ  ሰማያት  ከቶ ኸም ዘይትአትዉ ብሓቂ እብለኩም አሎኹ”። እቲ ኸምዚ ሕፃን እዚ ርእሱ ዜትሕት ንሱ እዩ አብ መንግሥተ ሰማያት ካብ ኩሉ ዚዓቢ። እቲ ንኸምዚ ዝበለ ሕፃን ብስመይ ዚቕበል ንአይ ይቕበል። እቲ ንሓደ ኻብዞም ብአይ ዚአምኑ ናእሽቱ ዜስሕት ድማ አድጊ ዚጥሕነሉ መጥሓን አብ ክሳዱ አሲሮም አብ መዓሙቕ ባሕሪ ኼጥሕልዎ ይኅሾ።

“ መላኣኽቶም ኣብ ሰማያት ኩሉ ሳዕ ገጽ እቲ ኣብ ሰማያት ዘሎ ኣቦይ ይርእዩ ኣለዉ እሞ፥ ካብዞም ናአሽቱ ንሓደ እካ ኸይትንዕቁ ተጠንቀቑ። እንታይ ይመስለኩም፧ ሚእቲ አባጊዕ ዘለዋኦ ሰብአይ ካብአን ሓንቲ እንተ ጠፍአቶ ነተን ተስዓን ትሽዓተን ኪደሊዶ አይከይድን፧ እንተ ረኸባ ድማ ኻብተን ተስዓን ትሽዓተን ዘይጠፍ አብአ አዝዩ ከም ዚሕጉስ ብሓቂ እብለኩም አሎኹ። ከምኡ ድማ ኻብዞም ናአሽቱ ሓደ እካ ኺጠፍእ ፍቃድ እቲ አብ ሰማያት ዘሎ አቦኹም አይኮነን።

በታ ሰዓት እቲአ እቶም ደቂ መዛሙርቱ “ አብ መንግስተ ሰማያት መን ይዓቢ፧” እናበሉ ናብ ኢየሱስ ቀረቡ። ኢየሱስ ድማ ሓደ ሕፃን ናብኡ ጸዊዑ አብ ማእከሎም አቖሞ እሞ ከምዚ በለ፦ “እንተ ዘይተመለስኩም፥ ከም ሕፃናትውን እንተ ዘይኮንኩም ናብ መንግሥተ  ሰማያት  ከቶ ኸም ዘይትአትዉ ብሓቂ እብለኩም አሎኹ”። እቲ ኸምዚ ሕፃን እዚ ርእሱ ዜትሕት ንሱ እዩ አብ መንግሥተ ሰማያት ካብ ኩሉ ዚዓቢ። እቲ ንኸምዚ ዝበለ ሕፃን ብስመይ ዚቕበል ንአይ ይቕበል። እቲ ንሓደ ኻብዞም ብአይ ዚአምኑ ናእሽቱ ዜስሕት ድማ አድጊ ዚጥሕነሉ መጥሓን አብ ክሳዱ አሲሮም አብ መዓሙቕ ባሕሪ ኼጥሕልዎ ይኅሾ።

“ መላኣኽቶም ኣብ ሰማያት ኩሉ ሳዕ ገጽ እቲ ኣብ ሰማያት ዘሎ ኣቦይ ይርእዩ ኣለዉ እሞ፥ ካብዞም ናአሽቱ ንሓደ እካ ኸይትንዕቁ ተጠንቀቑ። እንታይ ይመስለኩም፧ ሚእቲ አባጊዕ ዘለዋኦ ሰብአይ ካብአን ሓንቲ እንተ ጠፍአቶ ነተን ተስዓን ትሽዓተን ኪደሊዶ አይከይድን፧ እንተ ረኸባ ድማ ኻብተን ተስዓን ትሽዓተን ዘይጠፍ አብአ አዝዩ ከም ዚሕጉስ ብሓቂ እብለኩም አሎኹ። ከምኡ ድማ ኻብዞም ናአሽቱ ሓደ እካ ኺጠፍእ ፍቃድ እቲ አብ ሰማያት ዘሎ አቦኹም አይኮነን።

ናይ ሎሚ ቃል አምላኽ  እቲ ቀዳማይ ክፋል ናይ ምዕራፍ 18 ብዛዕባ ናይ Haንቲ ማሕበር ሕብረተሰብ ይዛረብ። አብዚ ቃል  አምላኽ እዚ “ ናአሽቱ ዝብል ንቃል ንረክብ። ናአሽቱ ክንብል ከለና ንቓልዑት ጥራይ አይኮነን ዝጠቅስ ዘሎ እንታይ ደአ ንኹሎም ንድኻታት አብ ማሕበራትና፡  ሕብረተሰብና አቓልቦ ዘይብሎም። ፡  መድኃኒና ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ነዞም አኃዋት አኃት እዚአቶም ፍሉይ አቅልቦን ምክንኻንን  ክንገብረሎም ይሓተና። ምኽኒያቱ ካብዚ አቶም ሓደ እካ ኺጠፍእ ፍቃድ እቲ አብ ሰማያት ዘሎ እግዚአብሔር አቦ ስለዘኮነን።

ሓዋሪያት አብ አብ ቅድሚ መድኃኒና ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ቀሪቦም፡ “አብ መንግሥተ ሰማያት መን ከምዝዓቢ ንምፍላጥ፡ “አብ መንግስተ ሰማያት መን ይዓቢ፧” እናበሉ ክሓትዎ ይርከቡ። ካብዚ ሕቶ እዚ ሓዋሪያት ተልእኮ ክርስቶስ ብዙሕ ዝተረድኡዎ አይመስሉን፡፡ አብዚ እቲ ሓዋሪያ ክርስቶስ ወይ ተኸታሊ ክርስቶስ ዝበሃል ነቲ ናቱ ድልየታት ክብሪ ከየቐደም፡ አብ ሕይወቱ መንፈስ አገልግሎት፡ ከቀድም ከምዘለዎ የረድኦም። ሎሚ ንህናዊን ካብዚ ቃል አምላኽ እዚ ተበጊስና ብሓቂ አብ ቅድሚ አምላኽ ዓበይቲ ተባሂላን ክንጽዋዕ መንግሥተ ሰማይ ንኽንወርስ  ትሕት ክንብል ከምዘለና ክንመሃር ንዕደም። ዕብየት ወዲ ሰብ አብ ትሕትና ምኽናኡ ኢዩ። አብ መንግስተ ሰማያት መን ይዓቢ፧” መድኃኒን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ነዚ ሕቶ እዚ ንምምላስ ሓደ ሕፃን ናብኡ ጸዊዑ አብ ማእከሎም አቖሞ እሞ ከምዚ በለ፦ እንተ ዘይተመለስኩም፥ ከም ሕፃናትውን እንተ ዘይኮንኩም ናብ መንግሥተ  ሰማያት  ከቶ ኸም ዘይትአትዉ ብሓቂ እብለኩም አሎኹ።

እቲ ኸምዚ ሕፃን እዚ ርእሱ ዜትሕት ንሱ እዩ አብ መንግሥተ ሰማያት ካብ ኩሉ ዚዓቢ። ትሕትና መሰረት ቅድስና ኢያ። ሚስ ክርስቶስ ጎይታ ከም እትወሃሃድ ትገብረካ። “እግዚአብሔር ጸጋኡ ምእንቲ ኪህበካ፡ ብዝ ዓበኻዮ መጠን ትሑት ኩን” ሲራ፡3: ትሕትና ናይቶም ንመንግሥተ ሰማያት ንምእታው ዝተሓጽዩ   ምልክት ኢዩ ። አብ ቅድሚ አምላኽ። ትዕብተና ምኻን ዕሽነት ክኸውን ከሎ፡ ትሕትና ግና ጥበብ ኢዩ።  ስለዚ ትሕትና ከም መንፈሳዊ መሰረት ሕይወትና ገርና አብ መዓልታዊ ሕይወትና ክነዘውትሮ ይግበአና፡፤

ቅድስቲ ድንግል ማሪያም ብትሕትናአ ንእግዚአብሔር ካብ ሰማይ ክትስሕቦ ኪኢላ ኢያ። አብ አ ክሓድር ፈቒዱ። እቲ ሓቀኛ እንታይነት ማሪያም አብቲ ፍጹም እምነታ ዝተመስረተ ትሕትና አ ኢዩ። እግዚአብሔር ትሕትናአ ስለዝረአየ ገብርኤል መልአክ ልኢኹ አብአ ኪሓድር ፈቐደ። ንሳ ኸአ ፍጹም ትሕትና ብዝመልኦ እምነት “እኔኩ አነ ባሪያ እግዚአብሔር ኢየ ከምቲ ዝበልካለይ ይኹነለይ “ እናበለት መደብ እግዚአብሔር አብአ ኽፍጸም አፍቀደት። ነዚ አብነት አዴና ቅድስቲ ማሪያም ክንስ ዕብ ሎሚ ንዕደም አለና።

እቲ ንኸምዚ ዝበለ ሕፃን ብስመይ ዚቕበል ንአይ ይቕበል። ክርስቶስ ንገዛእ ርእሱ ሚስ ሕጽናት ምስ ነአሽቱ ይቖጽራ። ስለዚ እቲ አብዚ ዓለም እዚ አብ ክርስቲያናዊ ሕይወቱ ነቶም ነአሽቱ ማለት ነቶም ድኻታት ካብ ሕብረተሰብ ግሉላት ንዑቓት ዝቅበል ንክርስቶስ ይቕበል ምኽኒያቱ ክርስቶስ አብ አቶም ስለዝርከብ። እቲ ንሓደ ኻብዞም ብአይ ዚአምኑ ናእሽቱ ዜስሕት ድማ አድጊ ዚጥሕነሉ መጥሓን አብ ክሳዱ አሲሮም አብ መዓሙቕ ባሕሪ ኼጥሕልዎ ይኅሾ።

እቲ ንሓደ ኻብዞም ብአይ ዚአምኑ ናእሽቱ ዜስሕት ድማ አድጊ ዚጥሕነሉ መጥሓን አብ ክሳዱ አሲሮም አብ መዓሙቕ ባሕሪ ኼጥሕልዎ ይኅሾ። ንናአሽቱ ምስሓት ማለት ነቶም ነአሽቱ፡ ወይ ድኻታት ተቐባልነት ካብ ሕብረተሰብ ዘይብሎም አኅዋት አኃት  እምነቶም ንኽገድፉ ምኽኒያት ከይንኾኖም ዝዕድም ኢዩ።

“ መላኣኽቶም ኣብ ሰማያት ኩሉ ሳዕ ገጽ እቲ ኣብ ሰማያት ዘሎ ኣቦይ ይርእዩ ኣለዉ እሞ፥ ካብዞም ናአሽቱ ንሓደ እካ ኸይትንዕቁ ተጠንቀቑ። እንታይ ይመስለኩም፧ ሚእቲ አባጊዕ ዘለዋኦ ሰብአይ ካብአን ሓንቲ እንተ ጠፍአቶ ነተን ተስዓን ትሽዓተን አብ ጎቦታት ኃዲጉ ነታ ዝጠፍአት ኪደሊዶ አይከይድን፧ እንተ ረኸባ ድማ ኻብተን ተስዓን ትሽዓተን ዘይጠፍ አብአ አዝዩ ከም ዚሕጉስ ብሓቂ እብለኩም አሎኹ። ከምኡ ድማ ኻብዞም ናአሽቱ ሓደ እካ ኺጠፍእ ፍቃድ እቲ አብ ሰማያት ዘሎ አቦኹም አይኮነን።

ክርስቶስ እቲ ሕያዋይ ጋስ ጋሳና አብዚ ፍቅሩ ብምሳሌ ገሊጹልና ይርከብ። እዚ ምሳሌ እዚ ፍቕሪ እግዚአብሔር ግላዊ ምኽናኡ ይገልጽ። ማለት እግዚአብሔር ንነፍሲ ወከፍና ከምዘፍቅረና ይገልጽ። እቲ ሕያዋይ ጋስ በተን 99 አባጌዕ አይሕጎስን። በታ ጎዲላ ዘላ ሓንቲ በጊዕ ይሓዝን። እዚ ብምሳሌ“ ነተን ተስዓን ትሽዓተን አብ ጎቦታት ኃዲጉ ነታ ዝጠፍአት ኪደሊ ዝኸይድ ጋሳ፧ ፍቕሪ እግዚአብሔር ኢዩ ዝገልጽ። ፍቕሪ እግዚአብሔር ን ዓና ደቂ ሰባት ንምድሓን መ ዓልታዊ አብ ምድላይ ይርከብ። አብ ምኹሕካሕ ልባትና ይርከብ። መስጢራቱ ሰሪ ዑ ካብቲ መገዲ ትፍ አት ናብቲ ሕቕፍ ኡ መጋስ ኡ ኪመልሰና ይጽውዓና። ብጥፍ አትና ይሓዝን ብንስሓና ይሕጎስ። እንተ ረኸባ ድማ ኻብተን ተስዓን ትሽዓተን ዘይጠፍ አብአ አዝዩ ከም ዚሕጉስ ብሓቂ እብለኩም አሎኹ። “ሕያዋይ ጋስ አነ ኢየ፥ እቲ ሕያዋይ ጋሳ ሕይወቱ በጃ አባጊ ዑ አኅሊፉ ይህብ።”ዮሓ.10:11 ነተን ዝጠፍአ ኽደልየን፥ ነተን ዝተባረራ ኽመልሰን፥ ንዝተሰብራ ኽዝንነን፥ ንዝሓመማ ኽፍውሰን እየ። ሕዝ.34:16

* ናይ’ታ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዘላ ካቶሊካዊት ቤተክርስትያን ጓሶት ካብ ዝኾኑ ጳጳሳት

* ካብ’ዛ ሃገር ተበጊሶም ኣብ ኵለን ሃገራት ናብ ዘለዉ ካቶሊካውያን ምእመናን፥

* ካብ እግዚኣብሔር ኣቦናን፥ ካብ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ጐይታናን ጸጋን ሰላምን፡
ነኣኻትኩም ይኹን (1ቆሮ.1፣ 1-2)፣

ማኅበረ-ሰብ ዓለም፣ ብዝተፈላለየ ሰብ-ሰርሖ ግድላትን ማዕበላትን እናተጸፍዐ ኣብ ዚህወኸሉ እgን፣ “ብክርስቶስ ምእማንኩም ኣብ ኵላ ዓለም ስለዝተሰምዐት፣ ቅድሚ ኵሉ ብዛዕባ ኵላትኩም ንኣምላኽና ብኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ነመስግኖ ኣሎና፣ ከየቋረጽና ኵሉ ጊዜ ኣብ ጸሎትና ንዝክረኩም” (ሮሜ.1፣ 8-9)።

እግዚአብሔር ብዘሕደረሎም ርድኢትን ብዝሃቦም ምድራዊ በረኸትን ተሓጊዞም ናይ ዑቕባ ዕድል ዝሃቡኹም፣ ኣብ መንጎኦም እትነብሩ ሃገራትን ሕዝብታትን፣ ብፍላይ ከኣ እተን ብኃልዮት ኣምላኽን ብናይ እንተላዕለ ኲሉ ቤተክርስትያን ኃልዮትን ተደሪኸን ዚስዕባኹምን ዚጓስያኹምን ሰበኻታትውን፣ ኣብ’ዚ ሰዓት’ዚ ብመንፈስ ምስጋና ንዝክረን ኣሎና።

ንእምነት-ክርስትናን መንፈሱን ኣብ ዚፈታተን፣ ፈጺሙ’ውን ኣብ ዚነጽግ ዓለም ኮይንኩም እምነትኩም ንምሕላውን፣ በዛ እምነት ተመሪሕኩም ንምንባርን እትገብርዎ ጻዕርን ትግሃትን ተገንዚብና፥ “በታ ላትና እምነት ንሓድሕድና ምእንቲ ክንጸናናዕ” (ሮሜ.1፣ 12) ንጽሕፈልኩም ኣሎና። ኣብ መልእኽቲ ዕብራውያን (11፣ 1) ከምዚንገረና ድማ፥ እምነት ነቲ ብተስፋ እንጽበዮ ነገር ከምንረኽቦ ዜረጋግጽ ብምዃኑ፣ ከምኡ’ውን “ብተስፋ ከምዝደሓንና” (ሮሜ፣ 8፣ 24) ስለእንፈልጥ፥ እስኪ ብተስፋ ንበርትዕ።

ዝሓለፈ ዓመት ኣብ ኤውሮጳን ሰሜን ኣሜሪካን፣ ኬንያን ንዚነብሩ ምእመናንና ኣብ ዝገበርናዮ ሓዋርያዊ ዑደት (ኣቡነ መንግስተኣብ ተስፋማርያም፤ ኣቡነ ኪዳነ የዕብዮ) ብዘዋህለልናዮ ተመክሮን ትዕዝብትን ከምኡ’ውን ኣብ’ዚ ቀረባ ግዜ (ብ3 ግንቦት 2004) ካቶሊካዊት ቤተክርስትያን ካብ ሮማ ኣብ መላእ ዓለም ንዚርከቡ ምእመናን-ስደተይናታት ዚርኢ ዝሃበቶ መምርሕን ማዕዳን ዝሓዘ ሰነድ (ኤርጋ ሚግራንተስ ካሪታስ ክርስቲ = ናይ ክርስቶስ ፍቕሪ-ሰደተይናታት) ምኽንያት ብምግባር፣ በዛ ሓዋርያዊት መልእኽትና ምሳኻትኩም ክንዋሳእ ኣድላዪ ኮይኑ ረኺብናዮ። ናይ ምሥራቓዊት ካቶሊካዊት ቤተ ክርስትያን ሕገቀኖና ከኣ ነዚ እንገብሮ ዘሎና ብሥርዓት ዚእዝዞ እዩ።

“ንስኻትኩም ስለ ዝኣመንኩም እቲ ኣብ መወዳእታ ዘመን ኪገሃድ ዘለዎ ድኅነት ክሳዕ ዚመጽእ፤ ኃይሊ-ኣምላኽ ኪሕልወኩም እዩ። ሽሕ’ኳ ሕጂ ንቝሩብ ግዜ ብብዙኅ ዝዓይነቱ ፈተና ክትሓልፉ ግዲ እንተኾነ፤ በዚ ክትሕጐሱ ኢኹም”። እዚ ከኣ እታ እምነትኩም ሓቂ ከምዝኾነት ኬረድእ እዩ። ወርቂ ሽሕ ግዜ ብሓዊ ይኰላዕ እምበር በራሳይ እዩ። እምነትኩም ግና ምስ ተፈተነት ኣዝዩ ብሉጽ ዝኾነ ዋጋ ኣለዋ። ከመይ ኢየሱስ ኪግለጽ ከሎ፤ ምስጋናን ስብሓትን ከተምጽኣልኩም እያ። (1ጴጥ.1፣5-7)

  1. ብምኽንያት ሃለgቶም ኣብቲ ልሙድ ናይ ቤተክርስትያን ጕስነታዊ ኣገልግሎት ኪጥቀሙ ይከኣሉ፥ ካብ ኣገልግሎት ርሒቖም ዚርከቡ ኵሎም ፍሉይ ዝኾነ ተገዳስነትን ኀልዮትን ኪግበረሎም ይግባእ። ከም’ዚኦም ካብ ዝበሉ ጕጅለታት፣ ኃት ካብ ሃገር ናብ ሃገር ተንቀሳቐስቲ፣ ስደተይናታትይርከቡዎም” (ጉ.ቫ. 2፥ ብዛዕባ ተልእኮ፣ ኣቡናት 18)። ምእንት’ዚ ናይቶም ብዝተፈላለየ ምኽንያታት ብፍላይ ድማ” ኣብ ካልኦት ሃገራት ዝሓሸ ናይ መነባብሮን ስራሕን ዕድል ኪረኽቡ” (ስራሕ-ወድሰብ Laborem Exercens.23) ዚንቀሳቐሱ ሰባት ሃለgትን ኵነታትን ንቤተክርስትያን ኣዝዩ ኪግድሳ ከም ዚርከብ፣ ቤተክርስትያን ኣብ ዓለምን ምስ ዓለምን ብዘለg ርክብ ዚዛረብ ናይ ጉባኤ ቫቲካን ሰነድ፣ ፈላሚ ቃላቱ ንርድኦ፥” ኣብዚ g ናይ ለዉ ደቅሰባት ብፍላይ ድማ፣ ናይ’ቶም መሳኺን ድኻታትን ብዝተፈላለየ ዓይነት ዝተወጽዑን ኵሎም ታሕጓስን ተስፋን፣ ጸበባን መከራን ኵሉ፣ ናይ’ቶም ተኸተልቲ ክርስቶስ (ናይ ቤተክርስትያን) ታሕጓስን ተስፋን፣ መከራን ጸበባን’ውን እዩ። እቲ ብሓቂ ሰብኣዊ ዝኾነ ሃለgቶም ድማ ካብ ናይ ሰዓብቲ-ክርስቶስ ኣቓልቦ ዝረሓቐ ኣይኮነን” ። (ጉባ.ቫቲ.2 ፍሥሓን ተስፋን፣ 1 Gaud. et Spes 1)

ስለ’ዚ ከኣ ሰብኣዊ ዓቕማን መደባታን ድሩት ብምዃኑ ዝጐደለን ዚጐድልን ኣገልግሎት ኪህሉ ይኽእል’ምበር፣ እቲ ናይ ቤተክርስትያን ኀልዮትን ተገዳስነትንሲ ንጹር እዩ፣ ወትሩ ከኣ ብዝተፈላለየ ደረጃ፣ እታ ዝዓበየትን ዝሰፍሐትን ቤተክርስትያን ኣብ ጉባኤ፣ ብዝበለቶን፥ ር.ሊ.ጳጳሳት’ውን ኣብ ዝተፈላለየ ግዜያት ዜርእዩዎ ኀልዮትን ወትሩ ዚቕጽል እዩ።

ንሕና ጓሶትኩም’ውን እዚ መዝነትን ተልእኮን ከምዘሎና ብምግንዛብ፥ ነዚ ሃለgትኩምን ኲሉ ግድላትኩምን ክንሓስብ እቲ ብኽርስቶስ ኣባኹም ሎና ፍቕሪ የገድደና (2ቆሮ.5፣ 14)። በዚ ፍቕር’ዚ ተደሪኽና፣ መዝነትና ንምፍጻም “ብተስፋ በርትዑ” ብዚብል ዘጸናንዕን ዘተባብዕን ቃላትና ንደሃየኩም ኣሎና።

ምስጋና

  1. እቲ መንፈሳዊ ናይ ጕስነትን፣ ተገዳስነትን መደብ፣ ኣቐዲሙ ኣብ ውሱን ቦታታት (ሮማ፣ ሚላኖ፣ ሽቱትጋርት፣ ፍራንክፈርት፣ gሺንግተን፤ ቺካጎ፤ ሎሳንጀለስ፤ ሳንፍራንሲስኮ፤ ሎንደን፤ ከሰላ፤ ገዳርፍ) ብወግዒ ብቤተክርስትያንና፣ ተጀሚሩን ነዊሕ ተኻዪዱን እዩ። ብኣቡናት ኮነ ብማኅበራቶም ተላኢኾም ኣብ’ዚ ቦታታት’ዚ ንመእመናን ብሉጽ ተወፋይነቶምን ኣገልግሎቶምን ንዘወፈዩን ብሕጂ’ውን የወፍዩ ንዘለዉ ካህናትን ደናግልን ንዅሎም ማኅበራት፣ ልባዊ ምስጋናና ነቕርበሎም። ብዝበለጸን ብዝተወሃሃደን ኣገባብ ኪቕጽልዎ ከኣ ነተባብዖም ኣሎና።

ኣብ ዚበዝሕ ቦታታትን ኲነታትን ግን ቅንአት-እምነቶም ብዝሓደሮም ተገደስቲ ኣኅgትን ኣኃትን ተጐሳጕስኩም ኣድማዕን ዜሓጕስን ተግባራትን ዕማማትን ብምፍጻምኩም ብልቢ ነመስግን፥ ነቲ ኪርሳዕ ዘይግበኦ ጕዳይ ድሕነትን እምነትን ከይረሳዕኩም፥ ንርእስኹም ተነቓቒሕኩም ንውሉድኩም ኮነ፣ ንካልኦት ኣኅgትኩም ኣኃትኩም ምንቅስቓስኩም፥ ነዚ ንዘኽኣለኩም ልዑል ኣምላኽና ምስጋና ይብጸሓዮ። እተን ኣብ ዓዓዱን ሃሃገሩን ዘለg ቊምስናታት፣ ሰበኻታት፣ ካህናት ኲሎም’ውን ብወግዓዊ ደረጃ ኮነ በብውልቂ ኪሕግዙኹምን ኪግደሱልኩምን ዝተረኽቡ’ውን ነመስግኖም።

እዚ ዅሉ ዝሓለፈ በረኸትን፣ ናይ ኣምላኽ ረድኤትን ክንሓስብ ከሎና ጐይታ ዓበይቲ ነገራት ገይሩለይ እዩ (ሉቃ.1፣ 49) ዚብል ቃል፣ ኣብ ኣፍና የድምጽ። ምእንት’ዚ በረኸት’ዚ ከኣ ንጐይታ ነመስግኖ ንዝምረሉውን። ብዝሓለፈ ጸጋን በረኸትን ክንእመን ከሎና ንሕጅን ንዚመጽእን ኣበርቲዕና ከም ንሰርሕ ቃል ነኣቱ ኣሎና ማለት እዩ።

ኣብ’ቲ ብስደት እትነብሩሉ ሃገር፥ መንነትኩምን መንፈስ-እምነትኩምን ንምሕላው፥  ብድሕሪት ንዝሓደግኩምዎ ኣብ ጸገማት ንዚርከብ ኅብረተሰብኩምን፣ ስድራቤትኩምን ንምርዳእን ንምሕጋዝን ብእተርእይዎ ንጥፈትን ተገዳስነትን፣ እቲ ንመላእ ሰብኣዊ ሕንጸትን ብስለትን ዚርኢ ናይ ኣቦታትን ኣዴታትኩምን፣ ናይ’ቲ መሠረታዊ መዕበያኹምን መሥመር ንምሕላውን ናብ ውሉድኩም ንምምሕልላፍን …ብእትገብሩዎ ትግሃትን ጻዕርን፣ ተደኒቕና ልባዊ ምስጋና ነቕርበልኩም ኣሎና።

  1. ቅድሚ ኃያሎይ ዓመታት፣ ኣብ’ዛ ዓባይ ከተማና (ኣሥመራ) ኣብ ትርከብ ሓንቲ ንእሽቶይ ቍምስና ብዝተገብረ መጽናዕታዊ ግምት (1978) ክልተ-ሢሶ ካብ ኣባላታ ኣብ ወጻኢ ሃገራት ብዘለዉ ውሉዶምን ኣባላት ቤተሰቦምን ዚናበሩን፣ ዚጥወሩን ምዃኖም ዜርኢ ነበረ፥ ናይ መላእ ሃገር ነጸብራቕ ኪበሃል ዚከኣል እዩ። እዚ ናይ ኀልዮትን ሓድሕዳዊ ረድኤትን ዝንባሌ፣ ነቲ ኣብ ወንጌል ዝተመርኰሰ፥ ፍቕሪ ብጻይ ዚገልጽ፥ መንፈስ-ክርስትና ዜረጋግጽ፣ ቀንዲ ማኅበረ-ሰባዊ መልክዕና ኮይኑ ምርካቡ፣ እቲ ባህልናን ኣተሓሳስባናን መጠን ክንደይ ብክርስትያናዊ መንፈስ ከምዝተሓንጸን ዝተዀስኰሰን ዜርኢ እዩ።

ብዙኃት ካባኻትኩም ኪብሉና ከም ዝሰማዕናዮ፥ ካብ’ቲ ፍረ ረሃጽኩምን፣ ኣዝዩ ድሩት ዝኾነ ዓቕምኹምን መቒልኩም፣ ንሃገርኩምን ኅብረተሰብኩምን ስድራቤትኩምን ብምሕጋዝኩምን ነዚ ንምግባር ድልየትን ተገዳስነትን ብምርኣይኩም፣ እቶም ኣብ ናይ ዕለታዊ ናብራ ጸገማት ኣብ ጐድንኹም ዚቃለሱን ዚጐዩን ምዕራባውያን ኣዝዮም ከምዚግረሙን፣ እዚ ኣተናኹም’ውን ንኺርድእዎ ከምዚጽግሞምን ዘመልክት እዩ። እዚ እንታይ የርእየና? እቲ ናተይ ንርእሰይ ጥራይ፣ “ካብ ወደይ ከብደይ” ነኣይ፣ ጥራሕ ይጥዓመኒ…ዚብል መንፈስ-ክርስትና ዝረሓቖ ምዕራባዊ መንፈስን ዝንባሌን ብግብራዊ ኣገባብ ከምዝነጸግኩምዎ፤ እዚ መንፈስ’ዚ ንዚኽተሉ ወገናት ከኣ፤ ናይ ኅሊና ስክፍታን ወቐሳን ከምዘሕደርኩምሎም ግልጺ እዩ። “ኣቱም ፍቑራተይ፣ ኣጋይሽን ስደተይናታትን ንሠናይ ግብርኹም ርእዮም በታ መዓልቲ ፍርዲ፣ ንኣምላኽ ምእንቲ ከመስግንዎ ኣብ ማእከል ኣሕዛብ ኣካይዳኹም ኣጸብቑ” (1ጴጥ.2፣ 11-12) ንዚብል ለበg-ኣቦኹም ቅዱስ ጴጥሮስ ሓgርያ ኢኹም ዝፈጸምኩም። ”ኣምላኽና ከኣ ድሌትኩም በለ ኵሉ ከም መጠን ሃብቱ፣ ብኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ገቢሩ ብኽብሪ ኪመልኣኩም እዩ” (ፊልጵ.4፣ 19) ብዛዕባታ ኣብ ልብኻትኩም ተስፋ ንዚሓተኩም በለ ምላሽ ምሃብ ምእንቲ ክትክእሉስ ኲሉሳዕ ድሉg ኩኑ። ግናኸ ብለውሃት ግበሩዎ (1ጴጥ.3፣ 15)፥ ብተስፋ ከኣ በርትዑ።

መበቈልኩም ምስ ዝኾነት ሃገርኩም ንዘሎኩም ምትእስሳር፥ ብዚከኣል ብዝተፈላለየ መደብ ክትቅጽልዎን፣ ናይ መን ምዃንኩም ክትገልጹን ምጽዓርኩም ዚድነቕ እዩ። ክንየ’ውቲ እተበርክትዎ ግዙፍ ሓገዝን ረድኤትን፣ እቲ ጕዳይ “መንነትን” ዓሚቝ ስምዒትን፣ ኣብ ሓዘንን ሓጐስን፣ ኣብ ጸበባን ጸገምን፣ …ኵሉ እትገብሩዎ ሱታፌ፣ ብኣካልን ብዝተፈላለየ ኤለክትሮኒካዊ መልእኽታት ዚፍጸም ሓድሕዳዊ ርክብ ዓይነተይና ኣብነት እዩ።

ማኅበራዊ መልክዕ ዝዓዘዞ ናይ ሥነ-ምግባር ሕይወትን መደባትን ኣገዳሲ እዩ። ኣነ ዝድላየይ እፈጽም፣ ሰብ ዝበለ ይበል፣ …ወዘተ ካብ ዚብል ውልቀ-ስምዒት ወጺእና፣ ዝኸማይ ሰብ እንታይ ይብለኒ፣ ኃወይ ኃውተይ…እንታይ ኪብሉኒ እዮም? ዚብል መንፈስ ስክፍታን ጥንቃቐን፣ ኃባራዊ ጕዕዞን ዘመልክቶ፥ ንሕይወትን ንብረትን ትርጕም ዚህቦ እዩ። እዚ ኵሉ ብቐሊሉ ዚፍጸም ከምዘይኮነ፣ ሓያል ጻዕርን ትብዓትን ዚሓትት ምዃኑ ግልጺ እዩ። ምስ’ቲ ከቢቡካ ዘሎ “ከይብሉኒ” ካብ ዚብል ስኽፍታ ወጺኡ፣ ደስ ንዝበሎ ዚፍጽምን ዚኽተልን ባህልን ኣተሓሳስባን ብርቱዕ ቃልሲ ከም’ተካይዱ ከኣ መንም ዘስተውዕሎ እዩ።

ሃለዋት ስደት

  1. ስደተይና ዚበሃል፣ እቲ ዓዱን ዓውዱን ሓዲጉ፣ ብዝኾነ ይኹን ምኽንያት ኣብ ዓድ-ጓና ኪሰፍር ዝመረጸ ወይ ኪመርጽ ዝተገደደ እዩ፥ ገሊኡ ብፖሊቲካዊ ኲነታት፣ ገለ ብስራሕ ብትምህርቲ ብምርምር…ወዘተ..። ናይ ውልቀሰባት፣ ስድራቤታት፣ ሕዝብታት ምንቅስቓስን፣ ናብ ዓድኻ ምምላስን፣ ካብ ጥንቲ ብጥቅምቲ ኣብ ኅብረተሰብ ብዝጸንሐ፣ ኣብ ናይ ድኅነትና ቅዱስ ታሪኽ’ውን፥ ኣብቲ ናይ ደቂ-ያዕቆብ ናብ ግብፂ ምኻድን፣ ካብኡ ምምላስን ናይ ስደት-ባቢሎን ኵነታትን፥ ክሳብ ናይ’ታ ቅድስቲ ስድራ ሃለgት…ኵሉ ከይተረፈ ዚግለጽ እዩ። ኣብ ቅዱስ መጽሓፍ’ውን ናብራ-ስደት ብናይ ምእመናን ምድራዊ ጕዕዞ ዚምሰል ኮይኑ ተረኺቡ።

ናይ ውድብ ኅቡራት ሃገራት ጸብጻባት ከምዜመልክቶ፣ ኣብ’ዚ 30 ዓመታት ኣኀዝ ስደተይናታት ዓለም ካብ 75 ሚልዮን ናብ 125 ሚልዮን ኪድይብ ተረኺቡ። ስለዚ ከኣ ሓዲሽ ተርእዮ ኮይኑ ዳርጋ ንዅለን ሃገራት ዓለም ዚትንክፍ ጕዳይ እዩ። ኣብ ውሽጢ ሃገራት ዘጋጥም ምምዝባል፣ ዶብ ሰጊርካ ምግዓዝ፣ ብሕግን ብዘይሕግን ምንቅስቓስ ብዝተፈላለየ ጸገማትን ምኽንያታትን ዝተደረኸ ኵነት እዩ።

ናብ ርእስና ማለት፣ ናብ ሃገርናን ሕዝብናን ክንጥምት ከሎና ድማ፣ እዚ ተርእዮ’ዚ ብፍላይ እዚ ናይ ስግር-ባሕሪ ስደት፥ ኣብ ዛንታ ኣቦታትን ኣቦሓጐታትን ዘይጸንሓና፣ ዘይሰማዕናዮ፣ ኣብ’ዘን ናይ መወዳእታ 40 ዓመታት ዝተኸሥተ ነቲ ዘጋጠመ ፖለቲካዊ ጸገማትን ስዒቡዎ ዝመጸ ማኅበራውን ኤኮኖምያውን ሃለgት ተኸቲሉ ዝተበጋገሰን፤ ቀጺሉ ዝተንቀሳቐሰን ምዃኑ እዩ።

ካብ’ቲ ገሊኡ ናይ ስደት ኣወንታዊ ውጽኢታቱ ንምዝካር-ሕዝብታት ኪፋለጡ ዕድል ይህብ። ኣብ ዕለታዊ ሕይወትን፣ ንብረትን ከኣ ኣብ መንጎ ሕዝብታት ናይ ተgስኦ (ዲያሎግ) መንፈስ ይምዕብል። ናብ ሥምረትን ኅብረትን ከኣ ይመርሕ። ስደት ብመንፅር ዝተፈላለየ ሥልጣኔታት ኪረአ ከሎ መምጽኢ ሃብትን በርከትን እውን እዩ። ብኻልእ ወገናት ድማ ስደተይናታትን ተቐበልትን (ደቀባት) ተኸባቢሮም ተፋቒሮም ተጸgዊሮም ኺነብሩ ከምዚኽእሉ ዘረጋግጹሉ ዕድል ወይ ቤት ትምህርቲ’ውን እዩ።

ጸገማት ስደትን ሳዕቤናቱን

  1. ናብራ-ስደት ከይፈቶኻ ዚምረጽ ምዃኑ፤ ካብ ቤትካን ስድራቤትካን ወጺእካ ብዘይትፈልጦ መንገድን ኣገባብን፣ ናብ ዘይትፈልጦ ዓድን መደብን ምብጋስ ዘምጽኦ ጥርጥርን ስግኣትን ፈተናታትን፣ ክንየው’ቲ ግዙፍ ጸገማትን ድኻማትን ዘስዕቦ ናይ ኅሊና ነውጽን ተርባጽን…ስነልቦናዊ ሃለgቱ መሪር እዩ። ነፍስወከፍ ካባኹም በዚ መስርሕ’ዚ ዝሓለፈ ስለዝኾነ ብዛዕባ’ዚ ነናቱ ዚብሎን ዜዘንትዎን ጽg ከምዘለዎ ግልጺ እዩ። ኣብ ዓዲጓና ሰሪሕካ ርሂጽካ፣ ካብ ባዶ ተበጊስካ ሕይወትካ፣ ሕይወት ስድራቤትካ ክትሓንጽ ላዕልን ታሕትን ምባል፤ መጠን ክንደይ ዚኣክል፣ መንፈሳውን ሥነልቦናውን ድኻም፣ ጽምg… ከምዘለዎ ኣይከሓድን፣

ኣብ ገሊኡ’ውን ብሰንኪ’ቲ ጽንኩርን ዘይንጹርን ዝኾነ ጕዕዞ-ስደት፣ ብቑዕ ዝኾነ ሰነዳትን፣ ናይ መንበሪ ፍቓዳትን ብዘይምርካብ ዚመጽእ ሰንፈላል ዝዓብለሎ ኣካይዳ፤ ብምኽንያት ሰነዳትካን ናይ መንበሪ ፍቓዳትካን፤ ብሰንኪ gሕዲ-ትምህርትኻን ተመክሮኻን፣ ኣብ ዝተሓተን ዝጸገመን ሃለgት-ስራሕ ተgፊርካ ምስራሕ ብኅሊና ዘይተዓግበሉ፤ ብጥዕና እትጕደኣሉ ሃለgት ዜጓንፍ እዩ።

ሞራልን፥ ሰብኣዊ ሕይወትን

  1. ድልዱል ስድራቤት ዝዓንድማእከሉ፣ ኣብ ፍርሃት-እግዚኣብሔር ዝተመርኰሰ፣ ኣብ ፍቕርን ክብርን ወድሰብ ዝተሓንጸ ኅብረተሰብ ዓቢኻን ተዀስኵስካን፤ ካብ’ዚ ድልዱል መዕበያ ዝተቐበልካሉ ወጺእካ፥ ኣብ ዓድ-ጓና ዓዲ-ስደት ምንባር ማለት፥ ካብ ባሕሪ ወጺኡ ናይ ዚነብር ዓሣ ሕይወት ኪመስል፤ ምእንት’ዚ ከኣ ናይ ሞት፣ ናይ ሕየት ቃልሲ ከካይድ ንቡር ይኸውን። ልዕሊ ኵሉ ድማ እዚ ቃልስ’ዚ ኣብ መንፈሳዊ ሃለgትን ኣብ ናይ ኅሊና ኵነታትን ዜጋጥም እዩ። ከም ውጽኢቱ ከኣ ኣብ ግዙፍ ናይ ዕለታዊ ሕይወት መነባብሮ ይንጸባረቕ። ነቲ ዝዓበኻሉ መምርሒ ሕይወትን መደብ ሰብኣውነትን ተኸቲልካዶ ምኻድ የሓይሽ? ወይስ ንከባቢኻ ምምሳል? ከም’ታ እናናሳዕ መልክዓ እትለgውጥ ነፋሒቶ ምስ ከባቢኻ ምልውgጥዶ ወይስ ነታ ዝነበረትካ ከይለወጥካ ምዕቃብ? ኣብ ዓደይ ኣብ መንጎ ስድራቤተይ ዘይምገበርክዎ፣ ኣብ’ዚኸ ክገብሮ ኅሊናይ የፍቅዶዶ? እዝን ካልእ ዚመስሎ ውሽጣውን ግዳማውን ክትዓት ጸዊርካ ዚኽየደሉ እዩ።
  2. ብመንፈሳውን ባህላውን ማኅበራውን መዳያት፣ እቲ ስደተይና ንዝነበሮን ሒዝዎ ንዝመጽአን፣ ነቲ ኣብ ዓዲ-ስደቱ ዘጓንፎ መነባብሮን ብደረጃ ስነሓሳብ ይኹን ብተግባር ብኸመይ የላፍኖ? ክሳብ መጠን ክንደይ የወሃህዶ? ጨሪሽካ ናትካ ገዲፍካ ኣብ ናይ’ቲ ዘኣንግደካ ሕዝብን ዓድን ኵነታት ምስጣም ዘምጽኦ ጸገማትን ናይ መንነት ቅልውላgትን ፈጺምካ ማዕጾኻ ብምዕጻው ኣይርኢ ኣይሰምዕ ኢልካ፤ ኣብ ከባቢኻ ምስ ዚርከብ ዝኾነ ናይ “ዲያሎግ” (ተgስኦ)፤ ናይ ምሃብ ምቕባል መደብ ዘይተካይደሉ ዕሙት ኣገባብከ ኣበይ ከብጽሕ እዩ?… ስለ’ዚ እቲ ሕይወት ብቐሊል ዘይግመት፣ ዚርአን ዘይርአን ጸገማት ተጻዊሩ ሰጊሩ ዚካየድ ብርቱዕ ሕይወት እዩ።

ምስዚ’ውን ኣብ ውሽጢ ስድራቤት፣ ዘጋጥም ናይ ዕድመን ኣተሓሳስባን ፍልልይ፥ ነቲ ምዕራባዊ ሥልጣኔን ቅዲ-ሕይወትን ምስቲ ዝጸንሓካ ልምድን መንገድን ኣወሃሂድካ ካብ ዘይምኽኣልን ዚመጽእ፥ ቀሊል ዘይኮነ ግርጭታት ከይዘከርናዮ ኣይንሓልፍን። ብሰንክ’ዚ ክንደይ ሓዳር ዘይተበተነ! ኣብ ክንደይ ወለድን ውሉድን ዘይምርድዳእ ዘይተፈጥረ!!

ኣብ እዋን ስደት ዚህሰዩ ወገናት፥

ሥድራቤት

  1. ኣብ ሃለgት-ስደት እቲ ብዝለዓለ ደረጃ፤ ውሽጣውን ግዳማውን፤ ግዙፍን መንፈሳውን ጸገማት ዚቕበል ስድራቤት እዩ። በዓልኪዳን ካብ በዓልቲ-ኪዳኑ፣ በዓልቲኪዳን ካብ በዓልኪዳና፣ ወላዲ ካብ ውሉዱ፥ ወለድን ውሉድን ዚፈላለዩሉ ኵነታት ዜስዕብ እዩ፥ እዚ ጽምgን ተነጽሎን ንርእሱ ዜምጽኦ ጠንቂ ኣለዎ። ልዕሊ ዅሉ ሓድነት ስድራቤት፣ ሓድነት ኪዳናዊ ሕይወት ዚህሰየሉን ዚቘስለሉን ሃለgት ይኸውን። እዚ ጸገም’ዚ ከኣ ኣብ’ቲ ናብ ሕይወት-ስደት ገጽካ እትገብሮ ጕዕዞ ስድራቤት ክሳብ እትተኣኻኸብ ዚርአ እንኪኸውን፥ ድሕሪ ምትእኽኻብ’ውን ሰሪሕካ ንኽትነብር ኣብ ዚግበር ጻዕሪ፣ ናይ ሰዓታት ስራሕን ዕረፍትን ዘይምግጥጣም ብዘምጽኦ ጸገማት ከይተራኸብካን፣ ፍቕርን ሓድነትን ከየስተማቐርካን ከይጸገብካን ዚንበረሉ ሕይወት ይኸውን።

ተነጽሎን ጽምgን፣ ካልእ ናይ ማኅበራዊ ሃለgት ጽልgን፣ ብዘምጸኦ ተጽዕኖውን ሓድነት-ኪዳንን ስድራቤትን ኣብ ጠንቂ ኣብ ዚወድቀሉ ኵነታት፣ -ኣብ መንጎ ሰበኺዳን ፍትሕ፣ ኣብ ወለድን ውሉድን ዘጋጥም ዘይምርድዳእን ዘይምውህሃድን፥ ከም ሳዕቤኑ ሓሺሽ፣ ቈጽለመጽሊ ኣልኮሆል ካልእ ዚመስሎ ነገራትን የስዕብ።

ኣብ ማእከላይ ዕድመ ዕጫ-ስደት ዝጠዓሙ ደጊም ናብ ሽምግልና ገጾም ዚገማገሙ ወገናትና ከምዘለዉ’ውን ፍሉጥ እዩ። ድኻምን እርጋንን ዜንጸላልዎም፥ ዚጽበዮም ዘሎ ጽምgን ተነጽሎን’ውን ቀሊል ከምዘይኮነ ይርደኣና። ናብ’ቲ መበቈሎምን መዘናታቶም ዚረኽቡሉን ዓዶም ከመዓድዉ ከኣ ንቡር እዩ። ኣብ’ዚ ኲነት’ዚ ዚርከብ ናብ’ቲ ልቡ ኪዓልበሉን፣ ረሓት ኪረኽበሉን ዚኽእል ንዓዱ፣ ንምምላስ ትብዓት ኬሕድር ጽቡቕ ምኾነ።

 

ደቀንስትዮ

  1. ናይ’ዚ ዅሉ ጸገማት ኣውራ ተሸከምትን፣ ሥነልቦናውን ግዙፍን ድኻምን ጸገምን ጸወርትን ግና ደቀንስትዮ እየን። ኣርዑት-ስደት ኣውራ ዚኸብደሉ ከኣ ኣብ ዝባን ጓለንስተይቲ እዩ። እዚኣተን ከኣ እተን ኣብ ሥሩዕ ኪዳናዊ ሕይወት ዝተጸምዳ ብመጠኑ፤ ኣውራ ግን እተን ኣብ ሥሩዕ ናብራ-ሓዳር ዘይተጸምዳ፤ ብውልቀን ኮይነን ሰሪሔን ኪነብራ ዚጽዕራ፤ ሓዳር ፈቲነን ብዝኾነ ይኹን ምኽንያት እቲ ኪዳናዊ ጕዕዞ ዘይሠመረ ኮይኑ ብውልቀን ሕይወተንን ሕይወት ደቀንን ኪመርሓ ዚቃለሳ፤ እተን ካብ ኪዳን ወጻኢ ብዝኾነ ኣገባብ ኣብ ውላድ በጺሐን፤ ሕጂ ውሉደን በይነን ዜዕብያ ..እዚኣተን ኵለን ሰሪሔን መነባበሪኤን ኪሕዛን ከመሓይሻን ዚቃለሳ፤ ናይ ሰብኣይን ሰበይትን ዕማም ዚፍጽማ እየን።

እተን ኣብ ሓዳርን ንቡርን ከይበጸሓ፤ ንውልቀን ዚነብራ ዘለg፥ እዚኣተን’ውን ኣብ ከመይ ዝበለ ጽምg ከምዚነብራ፥ ኣውራ ድማ ንዚመጽእ ዝኸበደ ከምዜጓንፈን ብሕጂኡ ዚፍለጥ እዩ። ነዚ ዅሉ ኪፍውሶ ዚኽእል፥ ሓድሕዳዊ መንፈስ ምርድዳእን፣ ምትሕግጋዝን (solidarity) ዜማዕብል፥ ነቲ ናይ ኣዴታትና ልምዲ ዝተኸተለ ናይ ናእሽቱ ማኅበራት ምጥርናፍ ኪዝውተር ጽቡቕ ምኾነ፥ ልዕሊ ዅሉ ግን፥ ኣብ’ቲ ሓደ ኣምላኽን ኣብ’ቲ ንሱ ዝለኣኾ መድኃኒና ዝኾነ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ምጽጋዕ እዩ። ኣብኡ ዘሎና እምነት ኣደልዲልና፣ ብፍቕሪ-ኣምላኽን ፍቕሪ ብጻይን በሲልና፣ ብተስፋ ንበርትዕ።

ንዅሉ ብዓይኒ ወርቅን ጨርቅን፤ ብዓይኒ ገንዘብን ርካብን ጥራሕ ዚመዝን፤ ብግዳማዊ ናጽነትን ግዙፍ ምንቅስቓሳትን ጥራሕ ዚጥምት’ምበር፤ ንውሽጣዊ ናይ መንፈስ ምልኣትን ናይ ጓለንስተይቲ ግርማ-ሞገስን ኣብ ግምት ዘየእቱ፤ ብሕይወታን ክብረታን ዚንግድ ምዕራባዊ ዓለም፥ ንኣgልድናን ኣኀትናን ኣብ’ዚ ሃለgት’ዚ ምንባር፣ መጠን ክንደይ ጽንኩርን ንመደብ ኅሊና ዚትንክፍን ምዃኑ ርዱእ እዩ። ኣብ ከም’ዚ ዝበለውን ወትሩ ኅልናና ከይሸጥና መንነትና ከይለወጥና፣ በታ መስመር እምነትን፥ ናይ ኣቦታትን ኣደታትን መዕበያን ተኸቲልና ምኻድ እዩ ዜgጽኣና። ንግዜያዊ ባህታን ደስታን ክንብል ነቲ ክብረትና መንነትና ኣብ gጋ ዕዳጋ ከነውርዶ የብልናን።

መንእሰያት

  1. ከምኡ’ውን እቶም ብሕፃናቶም ካብ ዓደቦኦም ወጺኦም፣ ወይ ከኣ ኣብኡ ተወሊዶም ዝዓበዩ መንእሰያት፤ ብደምን ትውልድን ናይ መበቈል ዓዶም፣ ብመዕበያን ልምድን ከኣ ናይ’ቲ ከባቢኦም ኮይኑ ዚስምዖም፤ ሓዲግ ኮይኖም ኣብ ከቢድ ጸገም ከምዘለዉ፣ ርኡይ እዩ፥ እቲ ኣዝዩ ዜሰክፍ ድማ ዚበዝሕ ኣብ ስደት ዘሎ ሕዝብና ኣኀዙ ወገን መንእሰይ ዚዛይደሉ ምዃኑ እዩ። እዚ ከኣ ዓበይቲ ሕቶታትን ግድላትን የስዕብ። መንእሰያትና ናብ’ቲ ግልጽን ርጉጽን ዘይኮነ መጻኢ ኲነታቶም ገጾም ኪሰጋገሩ ከለዉስ ዚኣክል መበገስን መቃለስን፤ ትምህርትን ተመክሮን ደኾን ኣጥርዮም ይኾኑ? ርእሶም ክኢሎም ኪጐዓዙ ዘኽእሎም ተስፋ ኣሎዶ? ዚብል ስክፍታታት ዚሕድረልካ እዩ።

በዚ ዝተጠቕሰ ምኽንያታት ዚኣክል ኣብ ቅብጸትን ምዕራብ-ንያትን በጺሖም፤ ናብ ሓሺሽን ቈጽለመጽልን፤ ዝገደደ ከኣ ናብ ቅትለት-ርእሲ ዚዝንብሉ ከምዘለዉ’ውን ምልክታቱ ዘርኣየ እዩ። በዚ ጸገማት’ዚ ዚህወኹ ስድራቤታት ከምዘለዉ ርዱእ እዩ። ነዚ ፈውሱ እንታይ እዩ?፣ ኣብ መንፈስ ክርስትናን እምነትን ዝተመርኰሰ መደባት ኣብ ዚካየደሉ ማእከላት ምዝንባል፥ ከምኡ’ውን ምስ መበቈል ዓዶም ብዚግበር ርክብ ገለ ፈgሲ ዝኾነ መድረኽ ኪፍጠር ይከኣል ይኸውን ንብል።

ውርሻኹም ዓቅቡ

  1. ኣብ ሕገቀኖና ምሥራቓውያን (ቀኖና፣ ቍ. 27/28/148) ከምዜመልክቶ እቲ ናይ ምሥራቃውያን ሥርዐተ ኣምልኾ ናይ ኲላ ቤተክርስትያን ክቡር ሃብትን ርስትን ስለዝኾነ ብዚግባእ ኪሕሎ የማሕጽን። ንምሕላው’ውን ዜድሊ መምርሕታት ኣለዎ (ቀኖና፣ ቍ.  39/40/41/150) ከምኡ’ውን ኲሎም ሰበሥልጣን ቤተክርስትያን (ጳጳሳት ካህናት….ናይ’ታ ዘለዉg ቤተክርስትያን) ኣብ ሰበኻኦም ንዚርከቡ ካልእ ሥርዓት ዝመበቈሎም ምእመናን ዜድሊ ምትሕብባርን ሓልዮትን ኪግበረሎም የማሕጽን፥ ዳርጋውን ይእዝዝ (192/1)። ክርስትያናዊ ሥርዓታቶም ንኪሕልዉ ዜኽእሎም ኲሉ ኪሕለየሎም (193/1)፥ ብዚከኣል ከኣ ካህናት መዲብካ ኪግበር ከምዚግባእ የማሕጽን። (193/2) እዚ ብወገን ቤተክርስትያን ካብ ተአመመ፥ ብወገን ምእመናን ድማ ከምኡ ነቲ ዘሎካ ሃብቲ ኣብ ምዕቃብን፣ ነቲ ዚመጽእ ወለዶ ኣብ ምምሕልላፍን ዝተመርኰሰ ጻዕሪ ኪካየድ ይግባእ። ምእመናን ኣብ ዘለዉ ኣልዮም ኪጥርነፉ ከለዉ፥ ነዚ ኣብ ናይ ቤተክርስትያን መምርሒ ዚፈልጡ ወገናት ቤተክርስትያን ድማ ኣብ ኲሉ ግቡእኩምን ሥርዓትኩምን ንክትሕልዉን ንኽትስዕቡን ዜድሊ ምትሕብባር ከም ዚገብሩልኩም ጥርጥር የለን።

ትምህርተ ክርስትና

  1. ኣብ ዘሎኹም ሃሊኹም፥ ኣብ ኲሉ ነቲ ናይ ትምህርተ-ክርስትና መደብ ንርእስኹምን ንደቅኹምን በብዜድሊ ክትግደሱሉ ሓደራ ንብል። እዚ ነኣና ናይ ሕይወትና ክፍሊ እዩ። ናይ መንነትና መግለጺ እዩ። ኪዳንና ንከነጽንዕ፥ ፍርሃት-እግዚኣብሔርን ኣኽብሮ-ሰብን ኪሰርጸና፥ ምሳና’ውን ከሰንየና እንተኾይኑ ኣብ ድልዱል መሠረት ትምህርተ-ክርስትና ክንሕነጽ ይግባእ። ኣብ ሕይወትና’ውን ብተግባር ዚንበር ናይ መንፈስ ክርስትና መንገድን ጠባይን ክንክተል የድሊ። ”ክርስትና ናይ ዚመጽእ ዓለም እምበር፤ ናይ’ዚ ዓለም’ዚ መጋበሪ ኪኸውን ኣይክእልን እዩ፥ ስለ’ዚ ኣብ ጕዕዞ’ዚ ዓለም’ዚ ክትዕወት ንመደብ ክርስትናን ትምህርቱን እንተይተገደስካሉ የሓይሽ፣ ዚብል ዝንባሌ ጥራሕ ዘይኮነስ፣ ብግልጺ ከይሓፈሩ ዚብልዎ እዩ። ክርስትና ግን ተፃይ ቅኑዕ ኣእምሮኣዊ መምርሒ ኣይኮነን፥ ምእንት’ዚ ከኣ እቲ ቅኑዕ ኣረኣእያኡ ንቅኑዕ መደብ ሥልጣኔ የሰጕም እምበር ኣየዓግትን እዩ። ርግጽ እዩ፥ መንፈስ ክርስትና ሒዝካ ምክያድ ፃዕርን ትብዓትን ቈራጽነትን የሓትት እዩ። ኣብ ታሪኽ ከም ዝተራእየ ከኣ ዓበይቲ ተግባራት ዚፍጸም፣ ትግሃት ቈራጽነት ምስ ሓዝካ ጥራሕ እዩ።

ስለ’ዚ ነቲ ግቡእን ብቑዕን ናይ ክርስትናዊ ሕይወት ሥነምግባርን መደብ ሕይወትን ብዚግባእ ክትስዕብዎ ሓደራ። ኣብ ብሉይኪዳን ናይ ዚርከብ፣ ናይ ጦቢት ታሪኽ ዘክሩ። ኣብ ዓዲጓና ኣብ መንጎ ኣረማዊ ሕዝቢ ኮይኑ፣ ነቲ ናይ ኣቦታቱ ቅኑዕ መሥመርን (ጦቢ.1፣ 17-21) ነቲ ናይ ሕጊ-እግዚኣብሔር መሠረታትን ከይሓደገ፣ እኳ ደኣ በኣኡ ክሳብ ዚልለ ዝሰዓቦን፤ ብዚግባእ ኣብ ግብሪ ዘውዓሎን እዩ። ንጥሙያት ኪዕንግል (ጦቢ.2፣ 1-14) ሕሙማት ኪበጽሕ ንምዉታን ኪቐብር፣ ንዝሓዘኑ ከጸናንዕ… ነቲ ግዙፍን መንፈሳውን ናይ ምሕረት ስራሓት ኪፍጽም ተረኽበ። ጦቢት፣ ዝተኸተሎ ሕይወት፥ ካብ ዓዱን፣ ዓውዱን ናይ ዝተፈልየ ሰብ ኣተና ዜንጸባርቕ እዩ። ንሱ ኣብ’ቲ ዝተሰደደሉ ሃገር ኮይኑ’ውን ሕጊ-ሃይማኖቱን መምርሒ እምነቱን ፈጸመ። በዚ ከኣ ነቶም ከቢቦምዎ ዝነበሩ ሰባት ኣብነትን ኣርኣያን ኮነ።

ምእንት’ዚ ድማ ወለዲ ኣብ መደብ ትምህርተ ክርስትና ንደቅኹም ኣብነት ኩንዎም። ገሌኹም’ኳ ቅድሚ ነዊሕ ዓመታት እሞ ብሕፃናትኩም ብዝተመሃርኩምዎ ጥራሕ ኢኹም እትናበሩ ዘሎኹምሞ፥ ዳግም ክትምለስዎን፣ ከተሓድሱዎ ብዝተፈላለየ መንገዲ ነዚ ዚሕግዘኩም መደባት ሃሰስ ክትብሉ ነዘኻኽረኩም። ንዚደሊ ድማ ኲሉ ይከኣል እዩ። ኣብ ቅድሚ ኣምላኽ ከኣ ኲልና ሕፃናት ብምዃንና፥ ንደቅና መሪሕና እንተተመሃርና’ውን የመልክዕ’ምበር ኣየኽፍእን እዩ። ንመንግሥቲ ኣምላኽ’ውን ከም ሕፃናት ኮይንና (ማቴ.19 1315 ማር.10 1416 ሉቃ.18 151) ና ክንወርሳ እንኽእል።

 

ቃል ኣምላኽ ብርሃን-ሕይወትና

  1. ኣብ’ዚ ዓለም’ዚ ካብ ዘሎ ዝበለጸን ዝተመርጸን ጽሑፋት እቲ ቃል-ኣምላኽ ዝኾነ ቅዱስ መጽሓፍ እዩ። ኣብኡ ጥበብን ልቦናን፤ ምሕረትን ናይ ፍቕሪ መቐረትን፤ ናይ ሕይወት ዕላማን እንታይነትን፣ ዜደንቕ ትምህርትን ኣብነትን ይርከብ። ልዕሊ ዅሉ ግን ንናይ ወድሰብ ጕዕዞ ዚኸውን መንገድን ሓቅን ሕይወትን ኣብኡ ይርከብ። ስለዚ ኣብ መንጎቲ ሰፊሕ ምንቅስቓስኩምን እፎይታ ዘይህብ ጻዕርኹምን ንቃል-ኣምላኽ ጽን እትብልሉ ግዜን ኣጋጣምን ምድላይ ግቡእ እዩ። ነዚ ዚሕግዝ መደባትን መጋበርታትን ኣብ’ቲ ዘሎኹምዎ ዓድን ብናይ’ቲ ቦታ ቋንቋታት ከም ዘሎ ዘጠራጥር ኣይኮነን፥ ኣብዚ’ውን እንተኾነ በብዓይነቱ መንፈሳዊ መጻሕፍቲ ስለዘይሰኣን፥ ንዕረፍትን ቤተሰብ ንምብጻሕን ክትመጽኡ ከሎኹም ንመንፈሳዊ ጕዕዞኹም ብዚሕግዝ ነገራትን፥ እምነትኩምን፣ መንፈሳውነትኩምን ብዚሕደሰሉ መደባትን ክትግደሱ ይግባእ። ብርሃንኩም ኣይተጥፍኡ፥ ብተስፋ ከኣ በርትዑ። “ኣበር ዘይብሎም ውሉድ ኣምላኽ ኮይንኩም ኣብርሁ” (ፊልጵ.2፣15)፤ “ሓቂ ዘበለ፤ ርዝነት ዘለዎ ኵሉ፤ ቅኑዕ ዘበለ፤ ንጹሕ ዘበለ፤ ተፈታዊ ዘበለ፤ ሠናይ ዜና ዘለዎ ኵሉ….ብዛዕባ’ዚ ነገር’ዚ ሕሰቡ” (ፊልጵ.4፣8)

ሥርዓተ ኣምልኾ (መግቢ ሕይወት) እዩ

  1. 15. ኣብ ዝኸድካ ከይድካ ነቲ ዘይርሳዕ ከይትርስዕ ፃዕሪ የድሊ፥ ምስ ኣምላኽካ ዘሎካ ርክብ። ሰብ ብግዜያዊ ሃብትን ምቾትን ኪተዓሻሾ ኣይክእልን ልቢ ወድሰብ ከኣ ኣብቲ ዕላማኡ ዝኾነ ኣምላኽ እንተዘይኣዕሪፉ ቅሳነት ዚበሃል፣ ህድአት ዚበሃል ኣይምረኸበን። ከመይ መዕለቢኡ ንሱ እዩ። ስለዚ መዕለቢና ከይጠፍኣና ምጥንቃቕ። ነዚ ምስ ኣምላኽና እንገብሮ ቀጻሊ ርክብ እንፍጽሞ ኣብ ሥርዓተኣምልኾ እዩ። ሎሚ ኣብ ምዕራባዊ ክፍለ-ዓለም ብዛዕባ ኑዛዜን መደብ ንስሓን ወይ ቊሩብ፥ ወይ ከኣ ፈጺሙ ዘይዝረበሉ ኲነታት እዩ ተኸሢቱ ዘሎ። እንተኾነ ግን ብጽምg ዝተበልዑ ደቅኣዳም፥ ነቶም ብብዙሕን ከቢድን ናይ ሕይወት ፈተናታት ዝተኸበቡ ሰባት፣ ቍሩብ ተስፋ እንተልያቶም ንሳ “ኑዛዜ” እያ። ነዚ እቶም ናይ ዘመናዊ ሥነፍልጠት-ሥነልቦና “ሳይኮሎጂ” መምህራን እውን ዘረጋግጽዎ እዩ።

ብንስሓ ዝተወልደትን ኣብ መደብ ንስሓ ዝዓበየትን ሕይወትኩም በሓቂ ደልዲላ፣ ኣብ ናይ’ዚ ዓለም’ዚ ጐደናታት ሃዲኣ ክትጐዓዝ እንተኾይኑ  ዝደኸምኩምን ጾር ዝኸበደኩምን ናባይ ንዑ፥ ኣነ ከዕርፈኩም (ማቴ.11 28) ናብ ዝበለ ኢየሱስ ናብኡ ንምጻእ። መንገድና ርሑቕን ጽንኩርን ምዃኑ ፈሊጥና ከኣ፥ ነዊሕ መንገዲ ኣሎካ’ሞ ተንሢእካ ብላዕ (1ነገሥ.19 7) ንዚብለና መልኣኽ-እግዚኣብሔር ሰሚዕና፥ ካብ’ቲ ኃይሊ ዚህበና፣ ንያት ዝኾነና ናይ ሥጋኡን ደሙን መግቢ-ሕይወት ንምርካብ ኣብ መሥgዕተ ቅዳሴ ንሳተፍ። ነዚ ንምግባር ከኣ ግድን ዓበይቲ በዓላት ኣማዕዲና፥ ኣብ’ቲ ብሥርዓትናን ኣገባብናን ዚቕደሰሉ ጥራሕ ክንጽበ ኣይግባእን፥ ኣብ ጐድንና ኣብ ዘሎ ሥሩዕ ካቶሊካዊ ቤተክርስትያን ግቡእና ክንፍጽምን፥ ምስ ኣምላኽና ክንራኸብን ይግባእ። ነዚ ዚሕግዘና ድማ፥ እቲ ናይ ሰናብትን ናይ ማርያም ኮነ፤ ናይ ቅዱሳን በዓላትን መሥርዕ ክንርስዖ የብልናን። ኣብ’ዚ እgናት’ዚ ናብ ኣምላኽና ከነድህብን፤ ነፍስና ክንፈቅድን የድሊ።

ምጽዋት (ኣብ ሃገርኩም ንዘላ ቤተክርስትያን)

  1. ኣብ ታሪኽ ቀዳሞት ክርስትያንን ቀዳመይቲ ቤተክርስትያንን ከምእንረኽቦ፥ እቶም ኣብ ሥልጡንን፣ ሃብታምን ወገን ዝነበሩ ክርስትያን (ኣብነት፣ ናይ ቆሮንቶስ፣ 1ቆሮ.16 3) ኣብ ጽጉም ሃለgት ንዝነበሩ ክርስትያን፥ ብፍላይ ከም ኢየሩሳሌም ኣብ ዝበለ ቦታ ስደትን፣ ውርደትን ንዝነበሩ ክርስትያን ገንዘብን ረድኤትን ይgጻእ ከምዝነበረ ይንገር። ርግጽዩ መብዛሕትኹም ኣብ’ተን ዘእንግዳኹም ኣብያተ-ክርስትያንን ሃገራትን ናይ ቤተክርስትያን ግቡእ (ኣብነት፣ -ጀርመን ንቤተክርስትያን ብመልክዕ-ግብሪ ዚወሃብ ገን) ብምክፋል በኣኡ ኣቢልኩም’ውን ኣብቲ ሰፊሕ፣ ናይ ኲላዊት ቤተክርስትያን መደብ ግብረሠናይ ትሳተፉ ኢኹም። ምስጋና ዚግበኦ እዩ።

ብፍሉይ ኣገባብ ከኣ፤ ነዛ ኣብ ሃገርኩም ዘላ ቤተክርስትያን ማለት ንድሕነት-ሰብን ንረብሓ-ኅብረተሰብን፣ ኣብ እተካይዶ ስራሓት ኣብ ጐድና ኮይንኩም ክትድግፉg እንከነዘኻኽረኩም፥ ድሮ ቅድሚ ሕጂ ዝጀመርኩምዎ ጕዳይ’ምበር ሓዲሽ ነገር ኣይኮነን። ስለ’ዚ ከኣ ብናይ፣ ዝሓለፈ እናመስገንና፥ ንዚመጽእ ብዝተወደበን፥ ምናልባት’ውን በቲ ማእከላይ ኣወሃሃዲ ቤትጽሕፈትና ኣቢሉ ብዚካየድን ውጽኢቱን ምዕባሌኡን ብዚግምገመሉ ንጹር ኣገባብ ንጥፈታትኩምን ሓገዝኩምን ኪቕጽል ጽቡቕ ምኾነ። ምእንት’ዚ ብዝተወሃሃደ መልክዕ በብግዜኡ ብዚግበር ተበግሶታት ለጋስ ኢድኩም ብምዝርጋሕ፥ ነዛ ኣብ ዓዲ ዘላ ንእሽቶይ መጓሰ-ኣምላኽ ኣብ መደብ ኀልዮትኩም ክትጽንብሩዋ ከሎኹም “እቲ ተረፍኩም ንጐደሎኦም፤ እቲ ተረፎም ከኣ ንጐደሎኹም፤ ኪምልእ’ሞ ማዕርነት ምእንቲ ኪኸውን ንጽሕፈልኩም ኣሎና” (2ቆሮ.8፣14)

እዚ እንብለኩም ዘሎና “ዜድልየኩም ኵሉ ረኺብኩም ብሠናይ ተግባር ኵሉ ዕዙዛት ኮይንኩም ምእንቲ ክትርከቡ፤ ጸጋ ኬብዝሓልኩም” (2ቆሮ.9፣8) ብዚብል ሓሳብ እዩ። “እቲ ንዘራኢ ዘርኢ ዚህብ ኣምላኽ፤ ዘርኢ ኪህበኩምን ኬበርክተልኩምን እዩ። ኵሉ ግዜ ለጋሳት ምእንቲ ክትኮኑ ብዅሉ ወገን ኬሃብትመኩም እዩ” (2ቆሮ.9፣9)

ክርስትያናዊ ሰብኣዊ ሕንጸትን መዕበያን

  1. ሎሚ ብዘሎ ኣተሓሳስባን ኣከያይዳን፤ ፍትሕን ርትዕን ሚዛናዊ ፍርድን ኣብ ኢድ-ኃያላትን ሰብ-ጕልበትን ሃብትን እዩ ዚረአ። ሎሚውን እንተኾነ ተሰማዕነት ዚረክብን፤ ንግዜኡ ዕዉት መሲሉ ዚረአን፤ እቲ ብስም ሞራልን ክርስትያናዊ ሥነምግባርን ዚምእዘዝ ዘይኮነስ ብብዝሒ-ሃብትን ብዓቕሚ ጕልበትን (ፖለቲካዊ ይኹን ካልእ ጽልg ዘለዎ)። ኣብ ከም’ዚ ዝበለ ዓለም ምንባር ስለምንታይ ክፉኣት ዚዕወቱ? ስለምንታይከ እቶም ቅኑዓትን ውጹዓትን ዚጥቅዑ….? ዚብል ሕቶታት ምምጻኡ ዘይተርፍ እዩ፥ እዚ ሕቶታት’ዚ እዚ ተርእዮ’ዚ “መዘናኡ ንወድሰብ” ኪበሃል ክሳብ ዚከኣል፥ ካብ ጥንቲ ዝጸንሐ፥ ጋና’ውን ዚጸንሕን እዩ። ንወድሰብ ዜናውጽ ሕቶ እዩ። ግና ኣሰር-ክርስቶስ ዝሰዓበን፤ ኣብ’ዚ ጕዕዞ’ዚ እምነቱ ብምሕላው ዝተዓገሰን እዩ ኣብ መወዳእታ ዚዕወት’ሞ፤ ብተስፋ ደኣ በርትዑ።

ስድራቤት

  1. ሎሚ ከም ሎሚ፣ ዚዓኑ ካብ ዘሎ ሓንቲ፣ እታ ዕርዲ-ኅብረተሰብ ዝኾነት ስድራቤት እያ። ኣብ መብዝሕትአን እዘን ስደተይናታትና ዘለዉወን ሃገራት (ምዕራብ) ዘሎ ማኅበራውን ናይ ሥልጣኔ መደባትን ንስድራቤት ዜዕኑ ብዛዕባ ምዃኑ ባዕላቶም ዚእመኑሉ እዩ። ቤተ ክርስትያን ድማ ነዚ ዕንወት’ዚ ደው ከተብል፥ ንስድራቤት ክትሓንጽ፥ ብዘሎ ኃይላ ምርብራብ እትገብረሉ ዘላ ግዜ እዩ።

እቲ ንስድራቤት ዚሽከም ዓበይቲ ኣዕኑድ፣ -ኪዳን-ስድራቤት-እናትነት-ኣባትነት፣ ወዘተ ዝነበሮ ክቡር ትርጕምን፣ ስምን ኣጥፊኡ ይርከብ። ብባህልና ብእምነት ክርስትናና፣ በዓል-ኪዳን/በዓልቲኪዳን ማለት”ኣሚን/ናይ ወጋሕታ/በዓልቤት/ በዓልዕጫ…” ብምዃኑ ነኣኡ ብዜንጸባርቕ ክቡር ቃላት ከኣ ንገልጾ። ሎሚ ዚኣቱ ዘሎ ኣተሓሳስባ ግን “ናይ ዓርከ-መሓዛ፤ ናይ መጓዕዝቲ” ሓሳብ ብዘለዎ ንግዜያውነትን፣ ንተመናውነትን ብዚዕድም ቃላት ኪስመ ከሎ መልእኽቱ’ውን ንሱ እዩ። ነቲ ዘለዎ ክብረት መዝነትን ዜፋዅስ ዜነኣእስ እዩ።

ኣብ ውሽጢ ስድራቤት’ውን በታኒ ዝኾነ፥ መስርዑ ዝተበለሸወ ሕቶ መሰልን ናጽነትን፤ ክንዲ ብለዓቱ ብብልሑ ዝተታሕዘ ጕዳይ ማዕርነትን፥ እዚ ዅሉ ንስድራቤት መሠረታታ ምሕዩ ዜናውጻን ዚብጽብጻን ካብ ዘሎ ሓደ እዩ። ስለ’ዚ ናይ ስድራቤት ኣርዑት ኃላፍነትን መዝነትን ዝደርበዩ፤ ብሓዲስ ናይ ገንዘብን ጣዕምን ምቾትን ኣምልኾ ተቐዪዶም፤ ምእንቲ ከብዶምን ዕለታዊ መንገዶምን ኪብሉ፥ ንኪዳንን ንኲሉ ዝሓዘሎ ቊምነገራቱን ይድርብዩ። ስለዚ ጥልመትን ፍትሕን፤ ብዘይገለ ኪዳናዊ መደብ ተጐዛጕዝካ ምንባር ነጊሡ፥ ክብረትን ኪዳንን ረኺሱ፣ ስድራቤት ከኣ መዓቝቦ ኣብ ዝሰአነሉ ደረጃ ትርከብ። ንሕፃናት ዘይደናገጽ፣ እኳ ደኣ ንርኹስ ዕላማ ዚጥቀመሎም ንዝዓበዩን ብሕማም ንዝተመግደሩን ከየናሕሰየ ኪሞቱ ዚሕግዝ (ዩታናዝያ) በዚ ዅሉ ናይ ሞት ሃለgት ዝተንጸላለወት ስድራቤት፣ ኣብ ሓደጋ ምህላg ዘካሕድ ኣይኮነን። ነዛ ዓለም’ዚኣ ኣይትምሰልg (ሮሜ.12 2) ንዚብል ቃል ጳውሎስ ንደግመልኩም።

እንተኾነ፣ ስድራቤት ኣብቂዑላ እዩ፣ ደጊም ኣይክትንሥእን እያ፥ ወዲቓ ሓቒቓ እያ ንዚብል ባህሊ ኣይንቕበልን። ምስ’ዚ ዅሉ ጸገምን፣ ጸበባን፥ ሕጂ’ውን ስድራቤት ህያብ-ኣምላኽ ምዃና ከምዘየጥፈአት፤ ሕጂ’ውን ብቘራጽነትን ተወፋይነትን እትንበር፤ ሕጂ’ውን እታ ናይ ደቅኣዳም ኡንኮ ተስፋ፣ ንሳ ምዃና ብእምነት እነረጋግጾ እዩ። ጥራሕ ብተስፋ በርትዑ!!

 

  1. ስድራቤት ህያብ-ኣምላኽ እያ
  • ስድራ-ቤት ንዓሌትሰብ ዝሃባ ቀዳመይትን ባህርያዊትን፤ ናይ ኅብረተሰብ ዓይኒማይ ዝኾነት ህያብ እያ።
  • ስድራቤት ብናይ ሰበኺዳን ሰብኣይን ሰበይትን ሓድሕዳዊ ፍቕርን ተወፋይነትን እትትከልን እትቕጽልን ህያብ እያ።
  • ስድራቤት ሕይወት ክትቅበልን ክትህብን ከተመሓላልፍን፤ ናይ እናትነት ኣባትነት ህያብ ዝተቐበለት እያ።
  • ውሉድ ህያብ-ኣምላኽ እዩ፥ ካብ ጽንሰቱ ኣትሒዙ ምስ መሰሉን፣ ክብረቱን ዘሎ እዩ። ዘርኢ ኪራኸብን ሰብ ኪሕነጽን ካብ ዝጀመረሉ ሰዓት፤ ደረጃ ዕብየቱ በብግዜኡ ዚምዘን’ኳ እንተኾነ፤ ህላዌኡ ግን ኵሉ ምልኣትን ክብርን ዘለዎ ምሉእ ሰብ፤ ፍጡር እዩ። ነዚ ድኹም ፍጡር ብዘይ ንሕስያ ዚብድል፤ ገበን ይፍጽም።
  • ሕይወት ስድራቤት በብዕለቱ ኣምላኽ ዚልግሶ ህያብ እዩ። ነዚ ህያብ’ዚ ንኽትበቅዕ ፍቕሪ-ትዕግሥቲ-መሥgዕትነት ተወፋይነት…የሓትት። ንዓበይትን ንናእሽቱን ዚሓቍፍ ሓድሕዳዊ ፍቕርን ሓልዮትን ዚረኣዮ እዩ።
  • ስድራቤት ንኅብረተሰብ ዝተgህበት ዝበለጸት ህያብ እያ፥ ቤትትምህርቲ እያ። ንካልኦት ምኽባር ምክብባር ምትሕግጋዝ ምድንጋጽ ርእስኻ ምግታእ፤ ኀልዮት- ሓድሕድ እትመሃረላ ቤት ትምህርቲ እያ።
  • ብዝበለጸ ድማ ስድራቤት ናይ ክርስትናን ሓዲስ ስብከተወብጌልን ፍሉይ ህያብ እያ።
  • ስድራቤት በቲ ብሥምረት እተዕርጎ ጸሎት፤ በቲ ናይ እምነት-ሓድሕድ
    ምስክርነት በቲ ርኅራኄን ኀልዮ-ሓድሕድን ተቐባልነትን፥ ክርስቶስ ኣብ ዓለም ከምዚሰፍሕ ትገብር።

 

  1. ህያብ-ኣምላኽ ወትሩ ተወፋይነትን ቈራጽነትን የሓትት

*     ኣብ ውሽጢ ስድራቤት ሓድሕዳዊ ተገዳስነትን፣ ኀልዮትን ኪረአ ይግባእ ስለ’ዚ ብሓንሳብ ዚህልዉሉ፤ ብሓንሳብ ዚጽልዩሉ፤ ሓሳብ ሓድሕድ ዚለgወጡሉ፤ እምነት ሓድሕድ ዚገልጹሉ ዕድል ኪህሉ ይግባእ።

*       ኪዳን ልዕሊ ኲሉ፣ እዩ። ሰብኣይን፣ ሰበይትን ሓድሕዳዊ ፍጹም ተወፋይነት ዚፍጽሙሉ እዩ።

*       ሥድራቤት ሕይወት ዚፍጠረሉን ዚዕቈረሉን ቅዱስ ቦታ (sanctuary of life) እዩ። እዚ ተግባር’ዚ ከኣ ብናይ’ቶም ወለዲ ኃላፍነትን መንፈስ እምነትን ዝመልኦ ኣገባብን መደብን (responsible parenthood) ዚፍጸም እዩ።

*       ኣብ ገለ ሃገራት ብመንፅር፣ ስደተይናታት፣ ደቀንስትዮ ንምምካነን ዚግበር  (ብኣስ ገዳድ) ሓደገይና ስጕምቲ’ውን ከምዘሎ፥ ክንግንዘቦ ይግባእ፥ ኣኃትናን  ደቅናን፣ ናይ’ዚ ግፍዕ’ዚ ግዳይ ከይኮና ምጥንቓቕ የድሊ።

*     ካብ ኣባላቶም ናይ ሓሺሽን ቈጽለመጽልን ጸገማት ዘለዎም ስድራቤታት ናይ ምትሕግጋዝን ሓድነትን መንፈስ ኪልገሰሎም ይግባእ።

*       ወለዲ ንደቆም ዝበለጸ ዝሓሸን ዝበልዎ ትምህርትን ቤትትምህርትን ኪመርጹሎም መሰሎም እዩ። ነኣኣቶም ኣወጊኑ ካልእ ኣተሓሳስባን ስምዒትን ዘሕድረሎም ኣካል ኪህሉ ኣይግባእን። ብዝኾነ ወገን ብመንግሥቲ ይኹን ብመራኸብ-ብዙኃን (ሚድያ) ኣብ ልዕሊ ውሉዶም ንዚግበር ዝኾነ ዓይነት ጽልg ብሃንሳሰለባም ኪሓልፉዎ ኣይግባእን።

*    ንስድራቤት ኣብ’ዚ ዅሉ ቃልሳ ዓወትን ንያትን ዝኾና፣ ኣብ ሓድነት ዚጠምራ ኣብ ክርስቶስ ዘለg እምነት እዩ።

 

  1. ስድራቤት ተስፋ ደቅሰብ እያ

ኣብ 1994 ርእሰሊቃነጳጳሳት ዮሓንስጳውሎስ 2፤ ኣብ ሮማ ምስ ስድራቤታት፣ ኣብ ዝተራኸቡሉ ስድራቤታት! ንስኻትኩም ናይ ወድሰብ ተስፋንታሕጓስን ኢኹም ኢሎም ነበሩ። እዚ ዅሉ ኣብ ላዕሊ ዝተዘርዘረ ምስ’ዚፍጸም ስድራቤት በሓቂ ናይ ኅብረተስብ መብራህትን መባዅዕትን ምዃና ዘይተርፍ እዩ።

ሃገራትን መላእ ኅብረተሰብ-ዓለምን ሰላም ኪረኽቡ እንተተደልዩ ናብ ስድራቤት ከተኲሩ ይግባእ። ጥዑያትን ቅኑዓትን ንካልእ ዚሓስቡ ምእንቲ ካልእ ዚውፈዩ፥ ኣገልገልቲ ሕዝቦምን፣ ሃገሮምን ዝኾኑ ብሱላት ዜጋታት ንኺህልዉኻ ስድራቤት ኪህልወካ የድሊ። ማይ ኣብ ዘይብሉ ዓሣ ዜንብር እንተ’ልዩ እንድዒ። ስለዚ ከኣ ድልዱልን ብሱልን ዝኾነ ስድራቤት፣ ንሓደ ድልዱልን ብሱልን ኅብረተሰብ መሠረቱ እዩ። ስለዚ እዩ ከኣ “ስድራቤት” ናይ ደቅሰብ ተስፋ ዝተባህለት።

መንፈስ ውልቃውነትን፣ ጣዕምን

    (Consumism ;Pragmatism ; Individualism ;materialism)

  1. ሎሚ ኣብ ኲሉ ዚረአ ዘሎ ሕማቕ ዝንባሌ እንተ’ልዩ፥ እቲ ንግዜኡ ጥራሕ ዚሓስብ፥ ንሕጂ ደኣ ይጥዓመኒ’ምበር ካልእስ ባዕሉ ይፈልጥ ዚብል፣ ንመደብ ሓቅን፣ ሓሶትን እናደባለቐ ከከም ዚጥዕሞ ዚካየድ ተድላን ምቾትን ጥራሕ ሃሰስ ዚብል (Pragmatism) ነዊሕ ዘየማዕዱን ዘየስተውዕልን ብዚመጽእ ናይ ሞራል ጸገማትን፣ ውጽኢቱን፤ ናይ ኅሊና ምጕትን ዘይግደስ እዩ። ኣብ ዘይሞራላዊ ሕጊ-ዕዳጋን መኽሰብን ዝተመርኰሰ ኣገባብ፤ ናብ ኲሉ መዳያት ሕይወትካ ምውዓሉ ማለት እዩ። ኣብ ከም’ዚ ዝበለ ሃለgት ንሰባትን ግድሎምን ኣወጊንካ ናብ ረብሓኻ ጥራሕ ተማዕዱ ማለት እዩ።

እዚ ንርእሱ ምስ ውልቃውነት (Individualism) ዝተኣሳሰረ ወይ፣ ፍላይ-ማንታኡ እዩ ኪበሃል ይከኣል። ስለ’ዚ ንምዕባሌን፣ ንመኽሰብን ከም ልዕሊ ዅሉን፣ ቀዳማይን ነገር ካብ ምርኣይ ምጥንቃቕ፥ ቅድምና ንሰብን ንግድላቱን ጸገማቱን ምሃብ፣ የድሊ። ሰብሓዳር ነንሕድሕዶም፤ ንደቆም ንቤተሰቦም (ወለዲ፤ ኣኅgት፤ ኣዕሩኽ፤ መሓዙት…) ተገዳስነት ምግባር ግቡእ እዩ።

ሕይወት ወድሰብ ክትከብር ይግበኣ። ስለ’ዚ ኣብ ናይ ደቅና ልደትን፣ ጥምቀትን፤ ኣብ ናይ ሕማምን ሞትን እgን፥ እንገብሮ ተገዳስነትን ምፍቕቓድን፣ ኣብ ልዕሊ ሕይወት-ደቅሰብን ፍጥረት-ኣምላኽን ንዘሎና ክብርን ፍቕርን መግለጺኡ እዩ። በዚ ዝመጽአ ነቶም ካልኦት ሕዝብታት ብዙሕ እንምህሮም ከምዘሎና ፍሉጥ እዩ። ነቲ ጽቡቕ ግብርኹም ርእዮም፥ ኣብ ሰማያት ኣቦኹም ምእንቲ ከመስግኑዎ፥ ብርሃንኩም ኣብ ቅድሚ ሰብ ይብራህ (ማቴ.5 16)

ካብ ዝተጋነነ ብሔርነትን (ethnocentrism)
ጸቢብ
ስምዒትን ምጥንቃቕ።

“ኵልኻትኩም ብክርስቶስ ሓደ ኢኹም እሞ፤ በዚ ኣይሁዳዊ ወይ ግሪኻዊ የልቦን፤ በዚ ባርያ ወይ ጭዋ የልቦን፤ በዚ ወዲ ተባዕታይ ወይ ጓል ኣንስተይቲ የልቦን” (ገላ.3፣28)።

  1. ሎሚ ንዓለም ዘስገኦ ካብ ዘሎ ሓደ፤ እቲ ካብ መሥመር ዝወጽአ ሕማቕ ዝንፋሱ ጸቢብ ስምዒት-ብሔርነት እዩ። ብመሠረቱ ኣምላኽ ዝፈጠሮ ሰብ ከኣ ካብ ሕፃንነቱ ጀሚሩ ኣብ ማኅበረሰብ ዓለም ዚጽንበረሉ ዝተፈላለየ ደረጃ ብምዃኑ፥ መሥመሩ ሓልዩ ኪካየድ ከሎ መሠረት ዕቤትን ሕንፀትን እዩ። መሥመር ምስዚስሕት ግን ከም ዘይወጽእ “ወልፊ” ወይ “ቈለ” (fanaticism) ይኸውን። ስለ’ዚ ከኣ መንነትካን መሠረትካን ንምግላጽን፣ ንምርግጋጽን እትገብሮ ጻዕሪ፥ ንኻልእ ቊሊሕ ኢልካ ንኸይትርኢ ዚዓግት፥ ወይ ምስ ካልእ ንኸይትgሳእ ዚገብር፥ ኣብ ልዕሊ ካልእ ጸብለል ንኽትብልን ተፈሊኻ ንኽትረአን ዚፈታተነካ እዩ። ናብ ዘይተጸበኻዮ ህልኽን ሕልኽልኽን ዜምርሕ ስለዝኾነ በኣጋኡ ጥንቃቐ ምግባር ዚመስሉዎ የልቦን። ምእንት’ዚ ከኣ ብዝሒ-ዓይነት ናብ ሱታፌን ምትእኽካብን ደኣ ኪመርሕ ኣለዎ’ምበር፤ ናብ ህልኽን ምጥምማትን ኪኸይድ የብሉን። ነቲ ካልእ ከም “ካልእነቱ” ምቕባል፣ እቲ ካልእ ዝሓሳቡ ዝምሳሉ…ከምዘለዎ ምቕባሉን፣ ምኽባሩን ማለት እዩ። መንፈስ ምጽውgር ምክብባር ብሰፊሑ ኣብ ወጻኢ ዘሎ ሕዝብና ከማዕብሎን፥ ካብ’ቶም ዜኣንግድዎ ሕዝብታት ኪመሃሮን ዘለዎ እዩ። እቲ ብሓንሳብ ዝበቘለ ብሓንሳብ እንተማዕበለ እዩ ዜምዕረሉ።

ንዅሉ ዚሓቍፍ መንፈስ ካቶሊካውነት ኣብ መንጎኹም ኪዓዝዝ፥ ንዅሉ ከኣ ሚዛናውነት ብዘለዎ ኣገባብ በቦታኡ፣ ከተትሕዝዎ፥ ከም ሰብ መጠን ምስ ኲሉ ጣዕምን ጽቡቕ ርክብን፥ ከም ደቅሃገር መጠን ርእይቶኡን እምንቶኡን ብዘየገድስ ምስ ዝኾነ ብኅውነት፥ ከም ደቅ-ሃይማኖት መጠን ከኣ ብኣብነትን ስኒትን ኅውነትን ምክያድ የድሊ።

ምስ ካልኦት ክርስትያን ኣመንቲ እቲ ናይ ደቅክርስቶስ ኅውነት ስምዒት ከነኅድር፣ ምስ ኣስላም ኣኅዋትና’ውን፣ ምስ ኵሉ በብደረጃኡ ብምክብባርን ብምፍቓርን ክትካየዱ ሓደራ ንብለኩም።

ከም ናይ’ዚ መቐጸልታ ድማ፣ ኣብ መንጎ ሰብኣይን፣ ሰበይትን ኣባላት-ስድራቤትን፣ ቤተሰብን ከምኡ ዝበለ ናይ ምርድዳእን ምውስሳእን ምጽውዋርን መደብ ደኣምበር፤ ሓደ ኣብ ልዕልቲ ካልእ ጸብለልትነት ዜርእየሉ ኪኸውን የብሉን።

ኣብ’ቲ ብዝሒ ኣተሓሳስባን፤ ርእይቶን (Pluralism) ንዜንቀሳቕሰሉ ክፍሊ ዓለም ኮይንካ፥ ኣእምሮኻ ዓጺኻ ምክያድ ዘይከኣል እዩ። ምእንት’ዚ ከኣ መንፈስ “ተዋስኦ” ማለት “ዲያሎግ” ግቡእን ኣድላዪን እዩ። ከይተዋሳእካ ሓሳብ ሓድሕድ ክትፈልጥ ዘይከኣል እዩ። ክትፍለጥ’ውን ኣይትኽእልን። ስለ’ዚ ከምቲ ኣምላኽ በብናትና ባህርይን ተፈጥሮን ገቢሩ ኪፈጥረና ዝደለየ፤ ንሕና’ውን ከምኡ ነቲ ኣምላኽ ዝፈጠሮ ከነኽብሮ ክንሠምሮ፤ ምእንት’ዚ ከኣ ሓድሕዳዊ ምክብባርን ምጽውዋርን ከነጥሪ ይግባእ።

 

 

መዛዘሚ

  1. ኣብ’ቲ ሰብኣዊ ባህልናን፤ ክርስትያናዊ መበቈልናን ተተኺልና፣ ብሞራላዊ ምልኣት (moral integrity) ክንዕንብብ ከሎና፣ እቲ ፍረና ጥዑም መኣዛ ኪኸውን፤ እቲ ብርሃንና ከኣ ጩራኡ ኪዝርግሕን ንኻልእ ኬብርህን ግዲ እዩ። ከመይ ንሕና ናይ ክርስቶስ ጥዑም መኣዛ ኢና (2ቆሮ.2 15) ይብል ቅ.ጳውሎስ። ቀጺሉ’ውን እዚ ሓgርያ’ዚ፣ እንኪምዕደና ከም’ዚ ይብል። ….ምእንቲ ናይ ገዛእ ርእስኹም ድኅነት ስርሑከም’ቲ gኽብቲ ኣብ ዓለም ዜብርሁ ንስኻትኩም ከእ ኣብ ማእከል’ዛ ቄናንን gይን ወለዶዚ’ኣ ኢንታ ይብሎም ንጹሓትን ኣበር ይብሎም ውሉድ-ኣምላኽን ኮይንኩም ኣብርሁ(ፊልጵ.2 1215)

ነዚ መዝነትን፣ ተልእኮን ንምፍጻም ድማ፣ ኣብቲ ዘሎኹምዎ ቦታ ኣብ ትርከብ ካቶሊካዊት ቤተክርስትያን ተሰዅዕኩም ክትጫልዱ ሓደራ ንብል። ቤተክርስትያን ካቶሊካዊት እያ ማለት፤ ኣብ ኵሉ፣ ንዅሉ እትሓቍፍ እያ። ስለዚ ኣብ ዘሎኹም ኣሊኹም፣ ናይ’ታ ከምዚ ዝበለ ፈራዪትን ጸጋይትን ሓላይትን ዝኾነት ኣደ ውሉዳ ምዃንኩም ይሰማዕኩም።

ነቲ ባህላውን ሕንፀተሰባውን (ካልቸራል) ውርሻኹም ምሕላው ማለት፣ ካብ ካልኦት ንምርሓቕን ንኻልእ ንምስትንዓቕን ዘይኮነስ፣ ዘሎኩም ሃብተ-ርስቲ ሒዝኩም ናብቲ ናይ ኣኅgት ርክብ ክትኣትዉ ከሎኹም ኣበርክቶኹም የዓዝዝ፤ ነቶም ካልኦት ኣብቲ ጐደሎኦም ትምልኡሎም፤ ንስኻትኩም’ውን ካብኣቶም ገለ ተቐቢልኩም ጐደሎኹም መሊእኩም ዝሃብተምኩም ትኾኑ (2ቆሮ.8፣ 14)። ምእንት’ዚ መንፈሳውን ሰብኣውን ሃብትኹም ክትዕቅቡ እትገብርዎ ጻዕርን ትግሃትን፣ ኣብ ማዕጾኹም ንኽትዕጸዉ ዘይኮነስ፤ መንነትኩምን ትሕዞኹምን ኣደልዲልኩም ኣብ ናይ ቤተክርስትያንን፣ ናይ ሕዝብታትን ሃብቲ ንኸተፍስሱ፣ ንስኻትኩም’ውን ካብኡ ገለ ንኽትሓፍሱ ብዚብል ኅልና እዩ።

  1. ኣብ’ቲ ዘሎኹምዎ ሃገራትውን ሰላምን ህድኣትን ንኪኸውን ብዘሎኩም ዓቕሚ ከተበርክቱ፥ ህላዌኹም ከኣ ወትሩ ናይ ሰላምን፣ ናይ ሠናይ ድልየትን መርኣያ ኮይኑ ኪርከብ ይግባእ። ኣብ’ቲ እግዚኣብሔር ክትናበሩሉ ዝመደበልኩም ዓድን መንገድን ወትሩ ነቲ ንሱ ዚደልዮ ሃሰስ ክትብሉ ንምዕደኩም። ቅድሚ 2587 ዓመታት ነቢይ ኤርምያስ ነቶም ኣብ ባቢሎን ዝነበሩ ደቂ እሥራኤል ዝጸሓፈሎም ቃል እነሆ፦

“…እግዚኣብሔር ጐይታ ሠራዊት ኣምላኽ እሥራኤል፥ ንዅሎም ካብ ኢየሩሳሌም ተማሪኾም ናብ ባቢሎን ዝኸዱ፣ ከምዚ ይብሎም ኣሎ፥ ቤት ስርሑ’ሞ ተቐመጡ። ኣታኽልቲ ትኸሉ’ሞ ፍሬኡ ብልዑ። ኣንስቲ ኣእትዉ፥ ኣወዳትን ኣዋልድን ውለዱ። ነወዳትኩምን ነዋልድኩምን ከኣ ኣመራዕዉዎም። ንሳቶም ድማ ኣወዳትን ኣዋልድን ይውለዱ። ኣብ’ቲ ዘሎኹምዎ ብዝሑ ደኣምበር ኣይትውሓዱ። ነተን ተማሪኽኩም ናባኣተን ከምትኸዱ ዝገበርኩኹም ከተማታት ንሠናየንን ደሓነንን ስርሑ። ንሳቶም እንተሃብተሙ ክትህብትሙ ኢኹም’ሞ ምእንታኣቶም ናባይ ናብ እግዚኣብሔር ጸልዩ፥ (ኤርም.29፣ 4-7)።

  1. ንሥድራቤታት

ብሓgርያዊ ኀልዮትን ፍቕርን ተደሪኽና ንሕና ካቶሊካውያን ጳጳሳት-ኤርትራ፣ እዚ ቃል-ተስፋን ምጽንናዕን ናብ ኵለን ኣብ ወጻኢ ሃገራት ዘለg ካቶሊካውያት ስድራቤታትን ውልቀሰባትን ንሰድድ ኣሎና። ሓደ ካብ’ቲ ቀንዲ ሓሳብ-መልእኽትና ድማ፣ ተስፋናን ቈላሕታናን ኣብ’ታ ብመንፈስ-ክርስትና ተመሪሓ፤ ብወንጌል በሪሃ እትንቀሳቐስ ስድራቤት ምዃኑ ምግላጽ እዩ። እዛ ስድራቤት’ዚኣ ንኣባላታ እትሕብሕብን እተዕቍብን፣ ተስፋን ፍቕርን እምነትን እትምግብ ክትከውን ከላ፤ ንመላእ ሃገርን ኅብረተ-ሰብን ከኣ ምኽንያት በረኸት ክትከውን ግዲ እዩ። ናይ ስድራቤት ሕይወትን ሃለgትን ኪምዕብልን ኪድልድልን ዚከኣል ዘበለ ኪግበር የድሊ።

ስለ’ዚ ካቶሊካውያን ምእመናን ኣብ ስድራቤትን ኣብ ናይ ቃልኪዳን ዕቤትን ክብረትን ዘሎኩም እምነትን ግምትን ካብ’ቲ ግቡኡ ከይወርድ ምጥንቃቕ የድሊ። እኳደኣ ነቲ ኣብኡ ተደጕሉ ዘሎ ሙቐትን ብርሃንን ንምርካብ ቀጻሊ ጻዕሪ ክትገብሩ ይግባእ። ኣብ’ቲ ዝጸንከረን ዝመረረን እgን’ውን እንተኾነ፤ ንሕይወት ስድራቤትና ከም ሓደ ክቡር ዕንቍ ብምርኣይ፣ ንምዕቃቡን ንምዕንባቡን ከኣ ዝኾነ ይኹን gጋ ኪኽፈለሉ ይግባእ። ንደቅኹም’ውን ናይ ውፉይ ሕይወት (ድንግልና፤ ምንኵስና) ክህነትን መደባት ናይ ሕይወቶም ትርጕም ኪህቦም ከምዚኽእል፣ ተመሊሶም’ውን ከገልግሉኹም ከምዚኽእሉ ሓሲብኩም፤ በዚ ከኣ ኣብ ሥድራቤትኩም ገለ ናይ ጸዋዕታ ተበግሶ ኪግበር ነማሕፅን።

ነቲ ብስድራቤት ኣቢሉ ዝመጽኣና ሰብኣዊ ክቡር ውርሻ ናብ ዳሕረዎት ወለዶ ከነመሓላልፎ ከምዘሎና’ኳ ዘካሕድ እንተዘይኮነ፣ ነዚ ዕማም’ዚ ኣብ ምፍጻም ግን ከመይ ዝበለ ሓያል ጻዕርን ትግሃትን ከምዚሓተና ፍሉጥ እዩ። እቲ ዝተመሃርኩምዎ ትምህርተ-ክርስትና ከኣ፣ ኣብ ከም’ዚ ዝበለ ጽንኩርን ፈታንን እgናትን ቦታታትን፤ መግለጺ መንነትኩምን መምርሒ ሕይወትኩምን እዩ።

ንደቅኹም ብትዕግሥቲ እናመራሕኩም፥ ርኡይ ዝኾነ ኣብነትን ትምህርትን ኣብ ምሃብ ደኣምበር፥ ግዙፍ ጣዕምን ምቾትን ኣብ ምቕራብ ጥራሕ ኣይትደረቱ። ነቲ መሠረታዊ ዝኾነ ሰብኣውነትን፣ ክብረትን ናይ ሞራል ምልኣትን ደኣ’ምበር፥ ነቲ “ብዝጨበጥካዮ ወይስ ብዝበጻሕካዮ ትግመት” (you are what you achieve) ዚብል ዝንባሌ ግጉይ ምዃኑ ኣስተውዕልሉ።

ኣምላኽ ንዝሃበኩም ጸጋ-ሕይወት፣ ብምልኣት ክትነብርዎ ነተባብዓኩም። ኣብ ቤተክርስትያንን ኣብ ማኅበረሰብን ከኣ፤ ሕይወት ዘለዎም ንቑሓትን ንጡፋትን ኃላፍነት ዚስመዖም ኣባላትን ኮይንኩም እጃምኩም ኣበርክቱ። ካብ ሕይወት-ወድሰብ ንእግዚኣብሔር ከወግድ ንዚደልን ዚህቅንን ኣተሓሳስባን መደብን ብተግባር ክትነጽጉዎን፣ ነቲ መንገድን ሓቅን ሕይወትን ዝኾነ ክርስቶስ ኣብ ዓለም ክትምስክሩሉ ይግባእ።

  1. ጋና መዕለቢ ዘይረኸቡን ዘይተመሓደሩን፥

ኣብ ሓደ ርጉእ መነባብሮ ዘይበጽሑ፥ ሰንፈላል ዘለዉን ላዕልን፣ ታሕትን ዚብሉን ኲሎም’ውን ኣብ’ቲ ሥቓያቶምን ጽንኩር ሃለgቶምን ምስኦም ከምዘሎና፣ ነሓስቦም ከምዘሎና ክንገልጸሎም ንፈቱ። ኣብ’ቲ ውዑይ ናፍቖት ዓዶምን ወለዶምን፣ ውሉዶምን ከምዘለዉ ምስዚ’ውን፣ እንታይ ከምዘጋጥሞም ከይፈለጡ፥ ከቢድን መሪርን ጕዕዞ-ስደት የሕልፉ ከምዘለዉ ይርደኣና። ዕድሎም ኣብ ኢድ-ኣምላኽ ከንብርዎ፥ ኣብኡ ተስፋኦምን እምንቶኦም ንኪገብሩ ከኣ ንምዕዶም። ኣምላኽ ብምሕረቱ ሓዲሽ መንገድን ኣገባብን ክሳብ ዚፈጥር ብትዕግሥቲ እናተጻወርኩም እስኪ ብተስፋ በርትዑ ንብሎም።

ኣብ ወጻኢ ሃገራት ዚርከቡ ብትምህርትን ብምርምርን ዝበሰሉ፥ ብምድራዊ ሃብቲ ዝደልደሉ ካቶሊካውያን ደቅሃገር ንሕዝቦም ዚህብዎ ኣገልግሎት ቀሊል ኣይኮነን። ነቲ ናይ ስደት ሃለgት እናተንተኑ፣ ምስ ሃገሮምን ኲነታቶምን እናገናዘቡ፥ ንዘለዉዎ ሃለgት ዚርኢ መጽናዕትን ምሁራዊ ክትዓትን ከካይዱ ጽቡቕ ምኾነ። እቲ ዝኾነን ኪኸውን ዚኽእልን እናወሃሃድካ ብምቕራብ ሕይወት-ስደት ጽንኩር’ኳ እንተኾነ ግና ከኣ ቊምነገር ኪግበረሉ ከም ዚከኣል እውን ኪፍለጥ እዩ። ናእሽቱ ናይ ዓዶምን ናይ እምነቶምን መሠረታት ከም ዚፈልጡን ፈሊጦምውን ብናቶም ከምዚተኣማመኑ ክትገብሩ ሓደራ፣ ንብል። ዓበይቲ’ውን ነቲ ከይተቐረቡ ብገርህን ብሃንሳሰልባምን ዝኣተዉዎ ምዕራባዊ ባህልን ሕይወትን ብምዕሩግ መንገዲ ከምዚነብሩዎ ክትገብሩ ምዝኽኻር ዘየድልዮ ተልእኮኹም እዩ። ሃይማኖት ኣብ ውልቃውን ማኅበራውን ሕይወት ንዘለዎ እጃምን ኣበርክቶን ከም ዚዓዝዝ ክትገብሩ ይግባእ። ሎሚ ኣብ ዓለም ብፍላይ ኣብ ምዕራብ ዘሎ ድኻምነት፤ መበቈሉ መደብ እምነትን ሃይማኖትን ሸለል ስለዝተባህለ እዩ።

Introduction

  1. From the Bishops who, by God’s will and by the approval of the Holy See, are the Pastors of the Catholic Church that is in Eritrea: to our faithful living everywhere, “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Cor 1:1-3).

At a time when world society is being perturbed by natural and man-made adversities, we “Give thanks to our God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is talked of all over the world” (Rm 1:9).

With deep gratitude we recall the Countries which, thanks to their God-given sense of compassionate understanding and to their available resources, have offered you asylum. We are particularly grateful to the local Churches which, manifesting God’s care and the concern of the universal Church, are looking after you and shepherding you.

Aware of how diligently you are striving to  keep your faith strong and to live up to it in the midst of a world that is so often inimical to our Christian faith-values, we are writing to you “So that we may be strengthened together through our mutual faith” (Rm 1:12).

The Letter to the Hebrews (11:1) instructs us that faith gives us the certainty of what we are waiting for in hope.  We also know that we are “Saved in hope” (Rm 8:24). Therefore, let us be steadfast in that same hope.

The pastoral visit we paid last year to the Catholic faithful in Europe, North America and Kenya (Abune Menghisteab Tesfamariam and Abune Kidane Yebio) has afforded us to gain much experience and close understanding of your situations and problems. Moreover, recently (3 May 2004) the Holy See has addressed the migrant communities of faithful throughout the world with a document containing appropriate directives and exhortations. Taking stock of the above, we have deemed it necessary to undertake a dialogue with you through the present pastoral letter. This is a duty that the Code of Canons of the Oriental Church enjoins on us Bishops.

 “Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who… has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ…and into a new heritage…It is reserved in heaven for you who are being kept safe to God’s power through faith until the salvation which has been prepared is revealed at the final point of time. That is a great joy for you, even though for a short time yet you must bear all sorts of trials; so that the worth of your faith, more valuable than gold, which is perishable even if it has been tested by fire, may be proved to your praise and glory and honor, when Jesus Christ is revealed” (1 Pt 1:5-7).

The Situation of the Faithful:

You Are Not Excluded from the Church’s care

 

  1. Itis essential that those faithful who, due to their particular life conditions, cannot avail themselves of the ordinary pastoral services of the Church, be the subject of a particular attention and care. Many from among them are migrants living as refugees in different countries (cf. Christus Dominus, 18). A document of the Second Vatican Council, in explaining the Church’s interest in, and concern for, those who “Move to other countries in search of better life opportunities” (Laborem Exercens, 23), and linking such an interest to the relationships of the Church with the world, has this to say in its opening paragraph: “The joys and hopes, the grief and anguish of the people of our time, especially of those who are poor or afflicted, are the joys and hopes, the grief and anguish of the followers of Christ as well. Nothing that is genuinely human fails to find an echo in their hearts” (Gaudium et Spes, 1)

True, there might be shortcomings to what has been and can be done, due mainly to a shortage of manpower and resources, but the attention and the concern as such are evident. As it is clear from the statements of the Universal Church, expressed by the Council and by the documents of the Holy Father, such an attention and concern are constant.

We, as your pastors, aware of our own responsibilities and mission, and “Driven by Christ’s love for you” (2 Cor 5:14), are as much thoughtfully concerned about your life situations and problems. Hence therefore, inspired by the same love, we once again send out to you this word of consolation and encouragement:  “Be Steadfast in Hope!”

Appreciation

  1. A program of pastoral care has been long established officially by our Church in a number of places (Kessela, Ghedaref, Rome, Milan, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, London, Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco). We extend our heartfelt thanks to the priests and religious men and women who, called by the bishops and religious superiors to this task, have been and are offering the best of themselves with generous dedication. We encourage them to continue this commitment with an ever better spirit of coordinated unity. We also wish to thank those members of the Church who, by their own personal initiative and zeal, are offering a commendable and fruitful service. Mindful of the urgency of faith, and of the salvation of souls, you have not only kept your commitment high, but have striven to keep it so in your own children and in your sisters and brothers. We thank the Lord for enabling you to such a mission. Our appreciation goes to the dioceses, parishes and individual priests for the care, support and cooperation they have generously accorded to you in the cities and countries where you live. When we ponder all such God’s blessings, a word of gratitude springs from the depth of our hearts: “The Lord has done great things for me” (Lk 1:49). We thank and praise him. To do so for us means, at the same time, to enter a commitment: to work with an ever growing dedication and strength at the present and in the future. We are knowledgeable of how you endeavor to preserve your identity and your faith, to reach out to the family members you have left back home, to keep up the fundamental principles you have inherited from your forebears and which are the basis of an integral human maturity and growth, and to bequeath all such principles to your offspring. Filled with sincere admiration, we again wholeheartedly thank you.
  2. A number of years ago (1978), a poll taken in a small parish in Asmara revealed that two thirds of its membership lived off the subsidies contributed by their children and family members abroad. It can be taken as a sample of a country-wide trend. It is a manifestation of a culture and a mentality that are deeply rooted in a spirit of mutual care, in the evangelical love for neighbor, the result of our community-oriented way of life. This in turn exhibits how much our tradition and culture are shaped and nurtured by the Christian spirit.

We know of the admiration with which the citizens of the countries where you live look at the selfless open-handedness with which you share the fruits of your hard labor and your limited resources with your national community and family members back home. This is an extant example of how you have deliberately rejected the ungodly, unchristian spirit of saying: “I am all for myself”, “Myself before anybody else”. People who come in touch with such a spirit will certainly experience a sobering call of conscience or even a sense of remorse. Yours is an attitude that is very much in tune with St. Peter’s recommendation: “I urge you, my friends, as strangers and nomads… behave honorably among gentiles so that… when the day of reckoning comes, they give thanks to God” (1 Pet 2:11-12). “Have your answer ready for people who ask you the reason for the hope you have. But,  give it with courtesy and respect” (1 Pet 3:15). So, be steadfast in Faith.

Your eagerness to remain in touch with your country of origin, and to cherish a sense of belonging through a variety of ways and means deserves a distinct mention. An emblematic aspect of it is, besides your material contributions, this strong sense of identity and the communion that you share through direct encounters or by electronic means in times of joy and sorrow, in times of happiness and trouble.

The importance of a community-oriented moral life and action can hardly be overstated. To turn away from individualism, and be able to free oneself from the “I-am-free-to-do-whatever-I-like”, “I-don’t-care-about-what-others-may-have-to-say” attitudes, gives one’s life a significance and an orientation. And this, in turn, leads to that spirit of gentle attention to the others which is so essential to a shared journey of life. As this is not an easily achieved purpose, it takes hard work, courage, as well as a clear and straight conscience,  in the face  of  cultures that are dominated by “one’s own personal liking” as the ultimate criteria of choice and action, with total disregard of what others may have to say.

Migrant Life Conditions

  1. The migrant is one who has chosen, or has been compelled to choose, exile from one’s own country or home. A political situation, economic constraints, the search of a job, education or research pursuits… may be some of the factors behind the phenomenon. The migration of individual persons, families and entire communities of peoples is as ancient as human history. This is exemplified in our own salvation history: from the children of Jacob’s exile to Egypt to the Holy Family’s migration to the same country… Scripture takes migration as a symbol of the faithful’s terrestrial life-journey.

UNO statistics show that, in the last thirty years or so, the number of migrants has swelled from 75 million up to 125 million worldwide. In this, its new global dimension, it has virtually come to affect all countries in the world. All sorts of unbalances within one’s own country, cross-border movements, legal or illegal transfers, and many more complex reasons and factors are behind the same phenomenon.

Nonetheless, if we look at our own country and people, we have to say that overseas migration into far-off lands is a recent development. Unknown and unheard of to our forefathers and fathers, this experience has unfolded in the last forty years or so, as a result of the economic and social predicaments caused, in turn, by a sequel of political upheavals.

From among the positive aspects of a migrant’s life experience, we can mention the mutual acquaintance and the growth of dialogue in the daily life among different peoples. This undoubtedly leads to harmony and unity. At the same time, contacts with different civilizations can be bearers of wealth and prosperity. Further, this experience is a school where migrant-hosting countries and immigrant peoples can learn to live together in mutual love and respect.

Problems and Consequences of Migration

  1. Inasmuch as migration involves separation from family and home, and new ways of life in unknown countries – with all the unavoidable uncertainties and anxieties it entails – is hardly a voluntary choice. One has to live through numerous physical hardships and bitter psychological experiences. All of you have gone through such processes. Each has a story of his own to recount. To live and work in alien lands, in a restless struggle to build one’s own personal and family life – invariably starting from scratch – is something the result of which is inevitably moral and psychological weariness and lonesomeness. Long and tortuous treks – laden with uncertainties, lack of proper documents and residence permits, impossibility to accede to decent jobs and life conditions, because of a lack of qualified education and experience – are quite often the source of stress and deteriorating health conditions.

Morality and Human Life

  1. To move into, and live in, an alien land as an exile, coming from communities whose culture is firmly rooted in God’s healthy fear (=Timor Domini), strong family values and respect for human dignity, is something very much akin to becoming like “a fish drawn out of the water”. Struggle for life becomes then a daily experience.  The impact that this has on the moral and spiritual life of people is apparent, and is obviously reflected in the concreteness of daily life. It becomes a matter of having to choose between: sticking to the moral principles and human values that have shaped one’s life hitherto, or conforming oneself to an altogether new value-system; between consolidated ways of life and passive and chameleon-like adjustments to fleetingly changing life styles; how do I justify behaviors to which, if I were still home, I would never yield?   Would my conscience accommodate itself to that so easily? These are only some of the critical questions that life in exile brings with itself.
  2. How should one integrate, at both the psychological and concrete daily life levels, the spiritual, cultural and social values inherited from one’s country of origin with those found in the new homeland? To adapt oneself to new social contexts, while entirely forsaking one’s own cultural background, is something that will lead to an unavoidable and harmful identity-crisis. On the other hand, imagine what the result would be, if one were to shut one’s own door, to close one’s eyes and ears to dialogue, to interaction and to a healthy give-and-take relationship! All of this sufficiently shows how life in exile may become charged with not easily quantifiable, difficult, external and internal problems.

Along with all of this, we cannot omit a mention of the problems and conflicts that family life has to face, owing to the differences of age and mentality. The difficulty to integrate traditional cultural values with modern western moral and social standards is part of the same problem. How many families have disintegrated, as a result! How many parent-child relationships have broken down!

Possible Victims of Migration

Families

  1. Family life is one of the realities that are most adversely affected by the internal and external, material and spiritual problems of migration. Involuntary separation, both between spouses and between parents and their children, is one result of it. Isolation itself has its own consequences. Above all, the unity of marriage and family can be seriously damaged. This can be seen both in the time before the family members are re-aggregated in the country of migration, and thereafter. Over-work, as well as unbalances between work and rest schedules, often end up by depriving people of the joy of togetherness and of the unity and the warmth of family life.

Isolation, loneliness and other problems of social life are often at the basis of situations leading to the breakdown of marriage and family ties, to divorce, and to misunderstandings between parents and children. As a result, drug and alcohol addiction and other forms of moral degradation may occur.

Among the migrants there are individuals who have left their country in their early or late adulthood and may be fast approaching old age. We know how much they can be threatened by frustration, loneliness; weariness and the problems of old age. It is normal for them to look back to their homeland and their age-mates there with a deep sense of longing. People living in such conditions should perhaps be encouraged to think of the possibility of returning home for a time of rest or even resettlement.

Women

  1. Women are often the main bearers of all such experiences of psychological and physical hardship. It is on their shoulders that the problems of migration weigh most heavily. This segment of society includes: women who are engaged in actual married life; those who do not have the benefit of such a settlement and live by themselves on their own work; those who, having experienced the failure of a marriage, have to manage their own life and the life of their children single-handedly; those who have borne children outside of marriage and have to take care of them without anybody’s help… These are all women who have to work hard and improve their life conditions while shouldering double-parent duties and responsibilities.  As much problematic is the situation of women who have never been able to enter married life and are doomed to live in solitude, with all the uncertainties of what the future may hold for them. Small associations along the lines of our mothers’ traditions may very well foster mutual support and solidarity. It is clear, though, that there can be no better remedy than to entrust oneself to the Lord Jesus Christ. Let them therefore strengthen their faith in him, increase their love for God and neighbor, and hold on to hope.

We all understand how difficult and soul-troubling it is, for our sisters and daughters, to live in societies which weigh every thing by monetary and wealth standards, by external freedom and material wellbeing, while trading on women’s life and honorability, ignoring the wholesome greatness of their dignity. There is only one way out of such and similar situations: never come into compromise with our consciences; rather, stick fast to the enduring faith-values we have been imbued with as we grew up. There can be no trading of our identity and fundamental values for ephemeral temporal pleasure.

The Youth

  1. Young men and women who had to leave their country of origin at an early age, or were born and brought up abroad, are faced with an ambiguous situation: that of being native by birth and blood, and foreign by culture and the surroundings in which they live! The uneasiness that such a situation creates to them is quite patent. The fact that statistically the younger members are taking an increasingly larger share within the migrant community is also a cause for some concern. In fact, it raises important questions and problems: are our young men and women equipped with a sufficient fund of knowledge and experience while they step into an unclear and undefined future? Can we hope that they are self-confident enough to be able to continue their life-journey on their own?

We do know that there are young people who, left at the mercy of such troubling problems, have given themselves to drugs or, even worse, have seen suicide as the ultimate, desperate outlet. Easy enough to imagine the despair of families in which such cases occur. Can any remedy be suggested for these and similar tragic occurrences?  We think of the possibility of turning to centers with Christian faith-based orientation programs and aggregation.  To help them to re-establish some sort of bond with their country of origin may also have a degree of healing effect.

 

II Part

Hold on To Hope;

Treasure Your Heritage

  1. The Code of Canons of the Oriental Churches (can 27:28;148) recommends that the Eastern Liturgy, inasmuch as part of the universal Church’s patrimony, should be duly preserved. Norms and directives for that purpose are spelled out (Can. 41:150). Church authorities and ministers at all levels (Bishops, priests…) are not only recommended, but required to offer collaboration and assistance to the faithful of other liturgical traditions in their dioceses and parishes (Can. 192.1). Canon Law also recommends that all ways and means that will enable them to preserve and foster their particular tradition of Christian worship should be employed (Can.193.1). Wherever possible priests should be assigned (193.2). While this is what the Church recommends, the faithful should be eager to cherish their heritage and transmit it to the new generations. When you, the migrant Christian communities, wherever you are, leave and worship in unity, no doubt you will not lack the support and the care of those who, in the Church, have the competence and the authority to assist you.

Christian Formation

  1. We recommend you to give the utmost interest and attention to the programs of Christian education, both for yourselves and for your children, for this is an integral part of our Christian life and identity. In order to give stability to marriage life, to ensure that fear and love for God and neighbor permeates our lives and accompanies our journey, we need to have a sound Christian formation. We need to conform our concrete ways of living and behavior to the demands of an authentic Christian spirit. There is nowadays not only a tendency to believe, but an unashamedly declared claim to the effect that “Christianity should only be about other-worldly concerns”; in order to succeed in this world one needs not be concerned with Christian faith and with its teachings.” The truth of the matter is that reason, if correctly used, is not contrary to faith. Christianity, far from being at odds with progress, is its most favorable ally. Certainly, authentic Christian life requires courage, strong determination and unwavering commitment. But history is there to show us that great deeds can be achieved only through such feats of courage. Hence our recommendation to you: be faithful to the principles of your Christian life and morals. Give a look to the Ancient Testament story of Tobias for an inspiration. While living in an alien land among the heathens, Tobias obeyed God’s laws and his fathers’ traditions to such an extent that these became the distinguishing feature of his identity (Tb 1:17-21). He fed the hungry, assisted the seek, buried the dead, consoled the afflicted, fulfilled all acts of spiritual and physical mercy. Tobias’ experience mirrors the purpose of a truly committed Christian faithful living in alien land (Tb 2:1-14). By living up to his religious principles and faith-guidelines, he became an example to the people among whom he lived.

We plead, you parents, to set an example to your children in a diligent study of the Catholic Catechism. Many of you live off a knowledge they have acquired in their childhood. We encourage you to refresh and further develop it through helpful, appropriate Christian formation programs. Good will is the secret of every success. As before God all of us are children, for you to take the lead in this endeavor before your own children is the most inspiring example you can provide them with. We will inherit God’s kingdom only by becoming “Like the children”  (Mt 19:13-15; Mc 10:14-16; Lk 18:15-1).

 

God’s Word

  1. Scripture, the quintessence of God’s word, is of course the choicest among all the writings in this world. Wisdom and intelligence, love and mercy, life’s meaning and goals, doctrine and inspiration, are condensed here. Above and besides everything else, it is here that man can find “The way, the life and the truth” (Jn 14:6). It is, therefore, indispensable that you find times and opportunities for an attentive listening to God’s word in the midst of your busy and often restless daily lives. Certainly, instruments that may assist you in this effort are not lacking in the countries where you live and in the languages spoken there.  But you may also take advantage of your visits to your home-country to assemble spiritual writings that are also available. These will certainly help you to nourish your journey, renew your faith, and refresh your spirit. Keep your light shining, be steadfast in hope, “So that you remain faultless and pure” (Phil 2:15). “Let your minds be filled with every thing that is true, everything that is honorable, everything that is upright and pure, everything that we love and admire, whatever is good and praiseworthy” (Ph 4:8).

Liturgy, Food of Life

  1. Wherever life’s necessities compel us to go, we must be careful not to forget what we cannot afford to, i.e. our relationship with God! We should never be fooled by temporal pleasure and comfort. Let us not mislay the ultimate purpose of our being on earth. Human heart will remain restless until it settles in God, for that is the ultimate refuge for mind and soul. Worship is where our relationship with God is attained in its fullness. The Sacrament and the practices of penance are nowadays dramatically declining or, indeed, disappearing in western societies. Yet, Confession remains the only hope for all those who are afflicted by spiritual and moral loneliness and are faced with life’s manifold and burdensome challenges and temptations. Professional psychologists are more and more coming to this same realization.

By heeding Jesus call, “Come to me, all you who labor, and I will give you rest” (Mt 11:28), life is regenerated. Strengthened by penance, it is enabled to journey through the vicissitudes of this world. We know how tough and long this journey can be. Let us therefore give a heed to the Lord who is advising us: “Get up and eat or the journey will be too long for you” (1 Kgs 19:7). Let us partake in the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Christ’s Body and Blood, the food of life, our source of spiritual energy and moral vigor. To do this, we do not need to wait for the great liturgical festivities and for the occasions when liturgy is celebrated in our own rite. We should avail ourselves of the closest Catholic Church or chapel to carry out our religious duties and meet the Lord. Besides the Sundays and great festivities, we should not forget the celebrations in honor of our Lady and the Saints throughout the year. These are times and opportunities when we can turn to the Lord and take care of our spiritual needs.

Offerings to the Home Local Church

  1. In the history of the early communities of the Church we read about how the Christians living in better-off areas met the needs of their less fortunate, exiled or persecuted brothers and sisters. Collections of money and other resources were organized (1Cor 16:3). Many of you do offer their own share to the local Churches where you live and, thereby, contribute to the works of mercy carried out by the universal Church. We commend you for that. Your support to the pastoral and social activities of your home Local Church is also not new. We thank you for what you have done so far. It is our wish that, even in the future, you continue your active collaboration in a manner that will guarantee coordination and an evaluation of the initiatives that are undertaken. This could perhaps be done through our Central Coordinating Secretariat. We are writing to you so that “Your surplus at present may feel their deficit, and another time their surplus may fill your deficit” (2 Cor 8:14). This is best done when, by generously stretching your supporting hand, you join in the various initiatives coordinated by the “Little flock” that is in your home country, “So that you always have enough for every conceivable need, and your resources overflow in all kinds of good work” (2 Cor 9:8). “The one who so freely provides seed for the sower and food to eat will provide you with ample store of seed for sowing and make the harvest of your uprightness a bigger one. You will be rich enough in every way for every kind of generosity” (2 Cor 9:10-11).

Towards an Authentic Human and Christian Culture

Troubling Questions

  1. According to contemporary standards and trends, power and wealth are the only criteria to measure success and influence. Ethics and Christian morals are superseded as criteria of judgment by political (or other forms of) power and by the amount of material affluence. Living in a world such as this, one cannot help asking: “why is that the wicked are so successful, while the upright are always the losers?”. Such questions, which are as old as humanity itself, will continue to be with us for as long as history will last.  Man will always be confronted with these troublesome questions.  But, since we know that it is by walking in Christ’s footsteps and by preserving intact our faith in him that we will ultimately prevail: “Be steadfast in hope.”

The Family

  1. The Family, the backbone of society, is one from among the institutions that are most affected by the negative impact of contemporary trends. The damaging effects of the social and economic development programs being pursued in most of the western countries, where our migrant communities live and work, have been acknowledged by those societies themselves. This is a time in which the Church is employing all the resources at her disposal to stem the damage, and defend and build-up the family. Great foundational values such as matrimony, parenthood, offspring, etc. are loosing their lofty connotations. In our own language and Christian tradition the spouse is referred to with such a dignified terminology as ኣሚን = faith-mate, በዓል-ዕጫ = fate-mate, በዓል-ኪዳን = covenant-mate, በዓል-ቤት = home-mate”, reflecting the concept of permanent inseparability. Nowadays, instead, there is a whole new terminology (ዓርኪ= friend, ብጻይ =companion, buddy…) which, referred to marriage, exhibits the extreme precariousness and flippancy being attached to it. This, obviously, amounts to emptying this lofty institution of its greatness and dignity.

The question of duties, rights and equality in family relationships is often tackled in such an inapt manner as to shake it in its very foundations. When unrestricted pursuit of money and unbridled pleasure takes over, and responsibilities are forsaken, then the family and all the values that go with it become a complete shambles. It follows that divorce becomes a routine; ambiguous and undefined unions prevail; the family ceases to be a home and a shelter. If compassion is lost towards children (to the extreme of child abuse) as well as towards the elderly and the sick (euthanasia), then family life is condemned to a mere survival in the shadows of a culture of death. In such circumstances as these, we cannot but repeat: “Do not model your behavior to this world.” (Rm 12:2).

This said however, by no means will we give in to certain theories according to which “family is gone forever, and will never resurrect”. As a God-given institution, it will continue to live against all odds, a powerful beckon of hope for all men and women. This is what we believe in faith. So again: “Be steadfast in hope.”

 

The Family, a Gift from God.

God’s Gifts Require Courage and Dedication

  1. If mutual care and concern are to permeate family life, it is critical that the members have opportunities for not only living together, but also for praying together, exchanging thoughts and experiences, and for faith-sharing.

The Family, a Beckon of Hope

  1. John Paul II, in a meeting with families in 1994, said: “Families, you are the hope and the joy of humankind”. By fulfilling the ideals we have tried to outline above, our families will really become a leaven and a sign of hope in this society.

If nations, and indeed the whole world, are to achieve peace, focus must be once again placed on the family; for it is here that morally healthy, dedicated, and mature servants of their nations and peoples are cultivated. A mature and solid family is the seed for a mature and solid society. That is why the family is said to be the hope of mankind.

 

Consumerism, Individualism, Materialism.

  1. One of the most pervasive tendencies today is to live just for momentary pleasure and transient fulfillment: “Only that which fulfils my desires in this moment has a meaning and deserves to be pursued. I don’t care about all the rest. Success now and here… and nothing else.” This is a way of living that ruthlessly mixes-up right and wrong, obeys to a shortsighted materialistic pragmatism, is totally unconcerned with moral principles and problems, and is insensitive to the voice of  the conscience.

When this mentality becomes an all-pervasive norm in one’s life, it is quite easy for one to forget the others, their problems, and to focus only on oneself. This attitude can hardly be seen separately from individualism. Indeed, it is strictly entwined with it. Great vigilance is needed to avoid that the mere logic of profit becomes “the” priority in one’s life. Mutual care and attention among spouses, children, and family members are, instead, the most basic requirements for a healthy family life.

Human life must be respected. The moments of mutual care and/or concern we share on such occasions as our children’s baptisms, or our family members’ illness or death are manifestations of our respect for, and love of, human life and for all God’s creation. If we are able to preserve what we already have in store in this regard in our own culture, there is much we can offer to other cultures and peoples as well, “So that seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven” (Mt 5:16).

Ethnocentrism and Narrow Attitudes.

  1. “There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither slave nor free man, there can be neither male nor female for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal 3:28).

Unhealthy and narrow ethnocentrism is undoubtedly one of the most disconcerting phenomena in today’s world. The various stages through which men and women, right from their early childhood, become part of world society can be the basis for authentic growth and progress only if that process moves on along a proper line of relationships. If this is lost sight of, then fanaticism creeps in. Inevitably then, one tends to assert only one’s own identity and to disregard the others. Dialogue becomes impossible. The search for personal superiority and self-promotion, at the expense of others, becomes the only driving force in one’s life. Since the result is reckless competition and conflict, timely vigilance needs to be exerted. Plurality and diversity must bring to communion, not to rivalry. To respect the others means to accept them “as they are and for what they are.” Tolerance and mutual appreciation are values that our migrant communities need to develop, and about which they can learn much from their hosting countries.

If you allow the all-embracing spirit of Catholicism to prevail among you, it will give a great sense of balance to all your relationships: gentleness towards the others as brother human beings, brotherhood with fellow nationals no matter of the difference of ideas and beliefs; harmony and Christian brotherhood with your fellow Catholics, beyond all cultural differences.

Our relationships with the members of other Christian Churches are based on our single brotherhood in Christ. This spirit must be enhanced. We also recommend mutual respect for, and friendship with, our brothers of Islamic faith.

Mutual tolerance and understanding between husband and wife, among family members and relatives, as opposed to the inclination to prevail on one another, shares very much of the same spirit as we hove tried to outline above.

Living in a world marked by pluralism, there should be no room for narrow and rocky close-mindedness. Dialogue is the right attitude and the fittest means. For, without it, no exchange of thoughts, no reciprocal acquaintance and appreciation is possible. While we have been created each one with his/her own unique qualities and gifts, we must respect the gifts and the qualities that the Creator has endowed the others with.

Concluding Messages

  1. If our human-cultural values and Christian roots are made to become the foundation and the core of our moral integrity, then our lives will abound with fragrant fruits; their light will expand to enlighten our brothers and sisters. For, as Paul puts it, “To God we are the fragrance of Christ” (2 Cor 2:15). The same Apostle goes on to add: “Work out your salvation in fear and trembling… So that you remain faultless and pure, unspoiled children of God surrounded by a deceitful and under-hand brood, shining bright among them like stars in this world” (Fil 2:12-15).

In order for you to fulfill such a mission, we recommend you to be fruitful branches in the one Catholic Church expressed by the community of believers in the countries where you are. To say that the Church is Catholic, i.e. universal, means that she embraces everyone, everywhere.  Wherever you are, you must feel to be the children of this one and caring Mother.

To treasure one’s own cultural heritage should never have to mean to spurn other cultures. It means to be able to come into a communion of brothers with one’s own cultural assets and resources. It is a mutually enriching relationship whereby “Your surplus fills their deficit and their surplus fills yours” (2 Cor 8:14). Therefore, the care and concern you have about preserving your cultural and spiritual identity should by no means lead you to close your doors to the others. It rather has to help you consolidate your identity so as to be able to offer the best of it for the common and reciprocal enrichment, within the Church and among the peoples.

  1. Be witnesses of peace and goodness. Offer the best of your collaboration in the countries where you live, so that peace and harmony may prevail. Seek always God’s will wherever it pleases Him to place you to live and work. Some two thousand and a half years ago, prophet Jeremiah had this to write to the Israelites living in Babylon:

          “…Yahweh Sabaoth, the God of Israel, says this to all the exiles deported from Jerusalem to Babylon: build houses, settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce; marry and have wives for your sons, find husbands for your daughters so that these can bear sons and daughters in their turn; you must increase there and not decrease. Work for the good of the city to which I have exiled you; pray to Yahweh on its behalf, since on its welfare yours depend” (Jr 29:4-7).

To the Families

  1. 26. Motivated by our pastoral care and love, we are sending out these words of hope and consolation to all the Catholic families and individuals One of the chief aims of this message is to indicate that our hope and attention focuses on the family, which we wish to see filled with Christian spirit and enlightened by the Gospel; a family that caringly rears its members and nurtures them with love and faith: what a blessing for a nation and for the whole of society! Hence the importance of unsparingly striving to strengthen the foundations and promote the wellbeing of our families.

Catholic faithful, keep always high your consideration for the greatness and the dignity of marriage and family, as you continue to strive to bring forth the warmth and the light it holds. Our families are like precious gems that must be defended and protected even at the cost of the greatest sacrifices, particularly in times of trial and distress. We recommend you to give a thought to the possibility of having vocations to the consecrated life among your children. Mindful that one day they will return to minister to you, do not hesitate to take concrete initiatives to promote such vocations within your family.

There is no question that we have to transmit to the new generations the human and cultural heritage that we received through the family. As much indisputable is that this demands a diligent and arduous effort. It is in such difficult and trying times and places as ours that your Christian education should become the expression of your identity and the guiding principle of your lives.

As you bring up your children with all patience, do not limit your effort to simply trying to fulfill their search for material satisfaction. Rather, be a living example to them. An accomplished human maturity rests on moral integrity. Therefore, be aware of how wrong the “you-are-what-you-achieve” philosophy is.

To the Youth

  1. “I have written to you, young people, because you are strong, and God’s word remains in you, and you have overcome the Evil One” (2 Jn 2:14).

“Let no one disregard you because you are young…” (1Tim 4:11). Do all that is good and is possible in the time and the life conditions you are in, under the inspiration of your Christian faith. Pass on to the following generation the hope, the faith and the love you have in turn received. It is only by remaining deeply rooted in faith that you will be able to overcome the so many and disheartening problems besetting the contemporary world. It is Christ, who has won over the world, who is calling you to this commitment.

We encourage you to live to the full the life that God has graced you with, to offer to the Church and to the society your contribution as active and responsible members. Be strong in opposing all efforts that are employed in order to displace God from the center of human life. Be witnesses of Jesus Christ in the world. He is the only way, truth and life.

 

To the Displaced

  1. We wish to extend our sympathy and solidarity to all those who, still far from finding a satisfying settlement, are experiencing the uncertainties and the anxieties of displacement. We understand their painful experience of separation from their country, parents, children or relatives, the hassles of exile through long and troublesome journeys. We encourage them to place their fate, hope and trust in God’s hands, to be patient as He, in his mercy, opens new ways and new possibilities for them. To them we once again we say: “Be steadfast in hope!”

To the Educated and the Better-off

  1. The contribution that Catholics with better opportunities for higher education, research or successful business enterprises are making to their country and people, cannot be underestimated. Debates and comparative academic studies on the relationships between their native cultural backgrounds and the complexities of the social context in which they live, would certainly be of the greatest interest. By combining what has already been achieved and what still needs to be achieved, such studies would show how productive a migrant’s life can be, in spite of all the adversities it entails. We encourage the younger generations to deepen the knowledge of their cultural and spiritual roots, so as to move about with a mature sense of self-confidence. Our adult men and women, who have entered the western social and cultural context either by mere chance or, anyway, without a specific preparation, are expected to meet the challenge with wisdom, dignity and responsibility. It is their responsibility to contribute so that faith may continue to hold the role it deserves in private and public life. We know in fact that much of the decline of values in the western world is attributable to the neglect to which life’s faith dimension has been confined.

In general, our call to all those who, either through hard work or by a happy coincidence of events, have been successful in their pursuit of study, work, or business, is to avoid avarice and isolation from the  community  and the society at large.  It is by sharing with others the blessing they have been graced with that they will fulfill their responsibilities and Christian mandate, and thus contribute their share to the civil society.

To our Sister Local Churches

  1. Once again, on behalf of our Dioceses, we wish to renew our deepest appreciation to the local Churches of the Latin Rite; for all that they have been doing for our sons and daughters through all these long years. We know we do not need to recommend them to continue to confirm our communities in the one faith hope and charity as they have been doing so far, tirelessly. We all need to continue to pray together for the displaced, the exiles, the orphans, the widows, the prisoners, for all those who are faced with so many difficulties and problems. It is the responsibility of all of us to work in order to prepare a bright future for them and, above all, to strengthen them in their faith-journey towards our final destiny: eternal salvation.

 

May the Lord lay his hands on all of you,

May He accompany you and be with you wherever you are.

ኢየሱስ ነዘን ምስላታት እዚ ኣተን ምስ ፈጸመ ኻብኡ ኣልገሰ። ናብ ዓዱ መጺኡ ኸኣ ኣብ ቤት ጸሎት ኣይሁድ ኣትዩ፥ ከምዚ ኢሎም ክሳዕ ዚድነቑ መሃሮም፦ “ እዝስ እዚ ጥበብ እዝን እዚ ተአምራት እዝን ካበይ ረኸቦ።  ወዲ እቲ ፀራቢዶ አይኮነን፧ አዲኡስ ማርያም እትብሃልዶ አይኮነትን፧ አኃዋቱስ ያዕቆብ፥ ዮሳ፥ ስምዖን፥ ይሁዳዶ አይኮነኑን፧ አኃቱስ ኩለን ምሳናዶ አየለዋን፧ እዚኹሉ ደአ ኻበይ አምጽኦ፧” ብእኡ ኸአ ተዓንቀፉ። ኢየሱስ ግና “ ነቢይ ብዘይካ አብ ዓዱን አብ ቤቱን፥ አብ ዘይከብረሉ የልቦን” በሎም።  ብሰሪ ዘይምእማኖም ድማ አብኡ ብዙኅ ተአምራት አይገበረን።
